# Enhanced Netherite Armour<\/p>\n
Give Netherite gear the extra heat-proof edge it deserves, for both players and their horses.<\/p>\n
**Enhanced Netherite Armour** is a simple Fabric mod that grants **Fire Resistance** while a player is wearing a full Netherite armor set, and can also protect horses wearing Netherite Horse Armor from fire and sinking into lava.<\/p>\n
For players, wear all four pieces:<\/p>\n
– Netherite Helmet
\n– Netherite Chestplate
\n– Netherite Leggings
\n– Netherite Boots<\/p>\n
Take off any one piece, and the effect is removed again.<\/p>\n

## \u203c\ufe0f Supported Armor Combinations<\/p>\n
By default, the mod works with the standard full Netherite set:<\/p>\n
– Netherite Helmet
\n– Netherite Chestplate
\n– Netherite Leggings
\n– Netherite Boots<\/p>\n
When `horseFireProtection` is enabled, horses wearing Netherite Horse Armor also receive Fire Resistance, float upward in lava instead of sinking, can path through lava more like they do through water when following food, and dismount riders when fully submerged in lava.<\/p>\n
When `armoredElytraSupport` is enabled, the mod also supports:<\/p>\n
– Netherite Helmet
\n– Netherite Armored Elytra
\n– Netherite Leggings
\n– Netherite Boots<\/p>\n
Support works with:<\/p>\n
– The **Armored Elytra** mod by DorkixAzIgazi
\n– The **Armored Elytra** datapack by Vanilla Tweaks
\n– The **Plated_Elytra** datapack by VoodooBeard<\/p>\n
Armored Elytra mod or datapacks are **not required**. If supported armored elytra items already exist, they can still be recognized from their item data.<\/p>\n

\n Enables support for Armored Elytra items and supported datapack formats<\/p>\n
– `horseFireProtection`

When `useLuckPerms` is enabled and LuckPerms is installed, the mod uses these permission nodes:<\/p>\n
– `enhancednetheritearmour.use`
\n Allows the Fire Resistance effect itself<\/p>\n
– `enhancednetheritearmour.toggle`
\n Allows use of `\/ena enable` and `\/ena disable`<\/p>\n
If LuckPerms support is disabled, the mod falls back to normal open access behavior for these features.<\/p>\n
`\/ena reload` always stays OP only.<\/p>\n
