## Endless Desert Survival Challenge<\/p>\n
This challenging datapack takes survival to the next level. Tougher mobs, new structures and world generation and a new environment-based thirst system that makes surviving the barren desert world harder than ever. <\/p>\n
#### Changes:
\n– The entire world generates with only 5 biomes: Desert, Windswept Savanna, Badlands, Eroded Badlands and Dunes
\n– Deserts contain mini-structures called Oasis which are critical for getting loot early game
\n– Adds a variant of the Desert Temple called a Badlands Pyramid
\n– Adds a structure in the savanna called the Desert Tradesman’s Hut
\n– Adds a new structure called The Crypts
\n– Adds a massive new structure called the Shrouded Temple
\n– Modifies hostile mobs to have stronger armor and weapons (especially in the badlands)
\n– Adds an environment-based hydration system (more about that below)
\n– Adds several new custom items
\n– Adds many new loot tables<\/p>\n
#### Future Plans:
\n– Add a variant of The Crypts called the Ancient Crypts
\n– Add a boss in the Ancient Crypts<\/p>\n
#### Environment-Based Hydration System:
\nYou start every world with a maximum of 1000 hydration units, but you can find “Hydration Increases” to increase the maximum capacity of your Hydration up to 2000. Your hydration goes down every 2 seconds based on the following criteria (which can stack):<\/p>\n
– Passive Rate (-1 hydration per 2 seconds, always)
\n– Sprinting (-1 hydration per 2 seconds)
\n– In a Badlands biome (-1 hydration per 2 seconds)
\n– In a crimson forest or basalt deltas biome (-2 hydration per 2 seconds)
\n– In The Crypts structure (-2 hydration per 2 seconds)
\n– Exposed to direct sunlight (-3 hydration per 2 seconds)
\n– In the Shrouded Temple (-5 hydration per 2 seconds)
\n– On Fire (-5 hydration per 2 seconds)
\n– In the Nether (-5 hydration per 2 seconds)<\/p>\n
To replenish your hydration you can drink water bottles (which can only be filled from a cauldron and replenish 100h) or find special drinks like Purified Water in chests. <\/p>\n
