{"id":57623,"date":"2026-06-03T07:08:20","date_gmt":"2026-06-03T04:08:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/vpesports.com\/minecraft\/mods\/distant-floating-islands\/"},"modified":"2026-06-03T07:08:20","modified_gmt":"2026-06-03T04:08:20","slug":"distant-floating-islands","status":"publish","type":"mod","link":"https:\/\/vpesports.com\/minecraft\/mods\/distant-floating-islands\/","title":{"rendered":"Distant Floating Islands"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To get started, here&#8217;s what this datapack can and can&#8217;t do:<br \/>\nDOESN&#8217;T:<br \/>\nAffect the End or Nether<br \/>\nGuarantee acces to survival resources (ores, structures, mobs)<br \/>\nGuarantee only water oceans (some sheets of ice, modded biomes may change water colour)<br \/>\nGuarantee a land spawn (islands are just too far apart)<\/p>\n<p>DOES:<br \/>\nWork with mods and modded biomes (as long as the mod isn&#8217;t a worldgen mod)<br \/>\nWork with Dynamic Trees IF you reorder the datapacks to put DynTrees&#8217; at the top<br \/>\nDo its best to include every biome<br \/>\nOverwrite the overworld (you have been warned)<\/p>\n<p>This pack is intended for use with creative mode building projects, so I have not attempted to make it function in survival. That said, you are welcome to try!<\/p>\n<p>I am not likely to port this to other versions unless heavily requested, so leave a comment with the version you&#8217;d like to see!
