# DeathMoney<\/p>\n
DeathMoney is a Paper\/Spigot plugin that handles money loss and rewards when players die.<\/p>\n
It uses Vault for economy support. Install Vault and an economy plugin before using this plugin.<\/p>\n
## What It Does<\/p>\n
– Takes money from players on natural deaths, if enabled.
\n– Rewards killers after PvP deaths, if enabled.
\n– Can split PvP rewards between players based on damage dealt.
\n– Can send taxes, natural death losses, and debt payments into a treasury account.
\n– Can block abuse such as repeated farming kills or same-IP rewards.
\n– Can limit DeathMoney behavior by world.
\n– Can track stats and leaderboards.
\n– Can show optional DecentHolograms popups\/stats if DecentHolograms is installed.<\/p>\n
## First Setup<\/p>\n
1. Put `deathmoney-1.0.0.jar` in your server `plugins` folder.
\n2. Start the server once.
