Now we’re on to 8.2! This update brings Curios and Trinkets support to 1.20.1 (soon to newever versions too!)<\/p>\n
### Known issues
\n– 6.0 Fabric, Forge and NeoForge 1.20.1 and 1.20.4
\n – Chest \/ Barrel contents are removed when dying to a different colour, please update to 6.1
\n– 6.1.0.63 for Fabric
\n – Crash on startup, please update to 1.20.4-6.1.0.64<\/p>\n
### What was new in 8.0?<\/p>\n
– 1.20.1 now has support for Curios and Trinkets! Worn backpacks are now rendered on the player model.
\n – Pack Frames have been added as wooden versions of Backpacks
\n – Fixed issue with chest and barrel not dropping contents when exploded
\n – Architectury API is now required in 1.20.1<\/p>\n

\n– Added wooden varieties for Compact Chests and Compact Barrels
\n– Added second tab for wooden storage blocks (Chests, Barrels, Drums)
\n– Condensed codebase using Architectury API, this will make further updates even easier!

\n– Changed size limit from 24×12 to 21×12 to solve some mod intercompatibility issues

### What was new in 6.1?

# So, what is this mod all about?
\nCompact Storage started off as a mod that added different tiers of chests, it has since evolved into an upgrade based storage system. The Compact Barrel, Chest and Backpack all start off with a 9 x 6 inventory size (yes, this is an upgrade from previous versions!) and can be upgraded using the Storage Upgrades to a maxium size of 24 x 12 (see below!)

\nThis allows for a lot of storage in one block space, this also carries over to backpacks which must be upgraded by putting the upgrade in your offhand and clicking the backpack! This mods focus is on dense storage with an accessible upgrade path. I have a lot of plans for advancing the progression through the mod so stay tuned!<\/p>\n
# Storage Options
\n## Chests
\nWorks the same as a standard vanilla chest, can be upgraded to a maximum size of 24×12 by right clicking with any of the upgrade items.<\/p>\n

## Compact Barrel
\nWorks the same as a standard vanilla barrel, can be upgraded to a maximum size of 24×12 by right clicking with any of the upgrade items.<\/p>\n

## Item Drum
\nThe first more unique storage option that was implemented, Drums do not have an inventory screen and are all world based interaction. They can store up to 64 stacks of ONE item. To add items, right click and to extract punch or shift click on the Drum. They can be upgraded with Retainer Upgrades to keep items when broken.<\/p>\n

## Backpack
\nPortable item storage! Can be upgraded to a maximum size of 24×12 by placing an upgrade item in your offhand and right clicking.<\/p>\n

## Width Upgrade
\nCan be used to increase the width of Chests, Barrels and Backpacks!<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
## Height Upgrade
\nCan be used to increase the height of Chests, Barrels and Backpacks!<\/p>\n

## Retaining Upgrade
\nCan be used to upgrade the chest, barrel and drum! Won’t lose items when broken!<\/p>\n
