(The maximum size can be changed in the config file)<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.forgecdn.net\/attachments\/28\/523\/2015-11-11_16.png\" width=\"854\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mod Spotlights:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><iframe loading=\"lazy\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qn1sBAVAbZo?wmode=transparent\" height=\"358\" width=\"638\"><\/iframe><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>To build these chests, you will need multiple Colossal Chest Wall blocks and exactly one Colossal Chest Core block.<\/p>\n<p>This Core block will contain the actual items of the&nbsp;multiblock, so break that one, and all items will&nbsp;pop out.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.forgecdn.net\/attachments\/842\/396\/screenshot-2024-04-08-at-17.png\" width=\"540\" height=\"230\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.forgecdn.net\/attachments\/28\/525\/schermafbeelding-2015-11-11-om-16.png\" width=\"536\" height=\"228\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Your structure must&nbsp;be cubic, each side must have an equal length. The minimum size of the structure is two blocks.<\/p>\n<p>The structure must be made up of Chest Wall&#8217;s, exactly one&nbsp;Colossal Chest Core block must be present in the structure.<\/p>\n<p>Once your structure is valid, the multiblock will be formed visually.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.forgecdn.net\/attachments\/28\/526\/2015-11-11_16.png\" width=\"854\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You must only build the actual walls of the structure, leave the inside of the structure hollow.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.forgecdn.net\/attachments\/28\/527\/2015-11-11_16.png\" width=\"854\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You can&nbsp;attach hoppers and pipes to the chest at the position of the Colossal Chest Core block.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.forgecdn.net\/attachments\/28\/528\/2015-11-11_16.png\" width=\"854\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Obviously, you can also open a gui to manage the inventory of the chest yourself.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.forgecdn.net\/attachments\/29\/339\/2015-12-04_20.png\" width=\"854\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Optionally, you can add any number of Colossal Chest Interface blocks to your structure to make those spots interfacable with hoppers and pipes.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/imgur.com\/SjpZoU9.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"530\" height=\"230\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/imgur.com\/z3SdXt4.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"854\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Next to the wood chests, variants for all types of metals (<em>including obsidian<\/em>) also exist, just like with the Iron Chest mod.<br \/>When the Iron Chest mod is detected, those chest textures are used, otherwise the internal textures are used (this can be disabled).<\/p>\n<p>If you have enough with wooden chests, these metal variants can be disabled easily.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.forgecdn.net\/attachments\/29\/336\/ironchests.png\" width=\"512\" height=\"300\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.forgecdn.net\/attachments\/209\/996\/2017-05-26_10.png\" width=\"690\" height=\"388\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Obsidian Colossal Chest is an upgraded version of the Diamon Colossal Chest, which has the same content size, but can not explode.<\/strong> The wall can be crafted by surrounding a diamond chest wall with eight obsidian blocks in a crafting grid.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.forgecdn.net\/attachments\/209\/997\/schermafbeelding-2017-05-26-om-10.png\" width=\"530\" height=\"230\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.forgecdn.net\/attachments\/209\/998\/schermafbeelding-2017-05-26-om-10.png\" width=\"510\" height=\"230\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>The Upgrade and Downgrade tools can be used to up\/downgrade a chest to the next\/previous tier without having to break and replace all blocks.<\/strong> This requires you to have all required blocks of a&nbsp;next\/previous tier in your inventory, and this tool will automatically replace the chest with the corresponding material, while maintaining its&nbsp;inventory.<br \/>Note that the Downgrade&nbsp;tool can make inventories smaller, so items may pop out if your inventory becomes too small for the new material.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>If you are having trouble with your chest not forming, you can right-click with an empty hand on the incomplete structure to see why it won&#8217;t form.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/media.forgecdn.net\/attachments\/29\/337\/2015-11-28_19.png\" width=\"854\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Formula for&nbsp;number of slots = ceil((diameter ^ 3) * 27 * material_factor)<br \/>Material factors:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Wood: 1<\/li>\n<li>Copper: 1.666<\/li>\n<li>Iron: 2<\/li>\n<li>Silver: 2.666<\/li>\n<li>Gold: 3<\/li>\n<li>Diamond: 4<\/li>\n<li>Obsidian: 4<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And finally, the most colossal chest of &#8217;em all!
