\nRequirements<\/b><\/summary>\n

CobGyms requires the following mods in order to function:<\/p>\n

    # CobGyms
    \nCobGyms is an unofficial implementation of Gyms using Cobblemon & Cobblemon Trainers __for both Fabric and Forge__. These have some similarity to the Gyms from the games but differ in a few unique ways which I hope are an improvement to the whole system.<\/p>\n

    __There are 2 different ways of entering a Gym__. You can enter via naturally spawning Gym Entrance structures in the overworld __OR__ you can enter a random one by using a Pok\u00e9 Gym Key.<\/p>\n

    There are currently three themes of Gyms implemented: Woodland, Volcanic, Aquatic.<\/p>\n

    The Gym Leader and Gym Trainers teams are generated from a pre-defined selection based on the theme and scale to the Gym Pok\u00e9mon level you chose, with any evolution logic being handled.<\/p>\n

    Losing or forfeiting against the Gym Leader or any of the Gym Trainers will result in a whiteout, __which forces you to leave the Gym with no rewards__.<\/p>\n

    Beating a Gym yields __rewards that scale based on the Gym Pok\u00e9mon level chosen__, for example a level 30 Gym is much more likely to give better rewards than a level 5 Gym.<\/p>\n

    \nGym Entrance Structures<\/b><\/summary>\n

    Gym Entrance structures are one of the two ways of entering Gyms. They will enter you into a specific themed Gym however can only be used a maximum of 3 times per player. There are currently three different of variants:<\/p>\n

      \n
    • Woodland Gym Entrance<\/b> – Most commonly found in forests, jungle, swamp etc.<\/li>\n

      <\/p>\n

    • Volcanic Gym Entrance<\/b> – Most commonly found in deserts, mesa, savanna etc.<\/li>\n

      <\/p>\n

    • Aquatic Gym Entrance<\/b> – Most commonly found in snowy biomes, taiga etc.<\/li>\n

      \n <\/ul>\n<\/details>\n

      \nHow to get Pok\u00e9 Gym Keys<\/b><\/summary>\n

      Pok\u00e9 Gym keys are one of the two ways of entering Gyms. They will enter you into a random themed Gym. There are currently three methods of acquisition:<\/p>\n

        \n
      • Chests in Vanilla or Cobblemon structures<\/b> (for example Villages or Gimmi Towers). For most chests there is about a 75% chance to contain a key, but this can differ based on the structure.<\/li>\n

        <\/p>\n

      • Mining between Y-level -40 and -60 to find Ancient Relics<\/b>. These will always drop 1 Pok\u00e9 Gym Key when broken with a pickaxe, regardless of fortune or silk touch enchantments. It should be quite rare to find this ore.<\/li>\n

        <\/p>\n

      • Beating or Capturing a Wild Pok\u00e9mon has a small chance to drop a key<\/b> (which will notify the player in the chat). The chance varies between roughly 1-3%, with higher level Wild Pok\u00e9mon having a higher drop chance. Capturing a Pok\u00e9mon also gives a greater drop chance.<\/li>\n

        \nPok\u00e9 Shards (Gym Completion Reward)<\/b><\/summary>\n

        Pok\u00e9 shards are one<\/b> of the various rewards you can get for beating a Gym. There are four different types: Lesser, Adept, Master and Legendary. These drop at different Gym Pok\u00e9mon level intervals:<\/p>\n

          \n
        • Lesser: level 0-59 (most common at level 30)<\/li>\n

          <\/p>\n

        • Adept: level 30-89 (most common at level 60)<\/li>\n

          <\/p>\n

        • Master: level 60-100 (most common at level 90)<\/li>\n

          <\/p>\n

        • Legendary: level 90-100 (most common at level 100)<\/li>\n

          \n <\/ul>\n

          Pok\u00e9 shards are used to make a Pok\u00e9 Cache of the corresponding rarity, or can be dismantled to a lower rarity of Pok\u00e9 shards.
          \n<\/details>\n

          \nPok\u00e9 Caches (Made from Pok\u00e9 Shards)<\/b><\/summary>\n

          Pok\u00e9 Caches are made from Pok\u00e9 shards. Pok\u00e9 caches come in four different rarities: Lesser, Adept, Master and Legendary.<\/p>\n

          When you use a Pok\u00e9 Cache you can choose a specific theme and you will get a random Pok\u00e9mon of the given theme and rarity from a pre-defined list. For example using a Master Pok\u00e9 Cache and selecting the Volcanic theme has a chance of giving you a Charmander or Tyrunt or Gible etc. All Pok\u00e9mon gained through a Pok\u00e9 Cache will start at level 1<\/b>.<\/p>\n

          You can further craft a Shiny variant of a given Pok\u00e9 Cache by surrounding it with Pok\u00e9 Shards of the same rarity, which has the same functionality as a Pok\u00e9 Cache but has a higher chance of giving a Shiny (1\/50 chance).<\/p>\n

          Legendary Pok\u00e9 Caches (crafted from Legendary Pok\u00e9 Shards) are the highest rarity and will give a random Legendary Pok\u00e9mon. Currently the list only includes Legendary Pok\u00e9mon that the official Cobblemon mod has models for which is only a handful. This is hopefully a unique and challenging way of getting Legendaries, as the Legendary Pok\u00e9 shards only drop from levels 90-100 and in very small quantities.

          \nWild Pok\u00e9mon Level Scaling<\/b><\/summary>\n

          Wild Pok\u00e9mon in a radius around you will occasionally (roughly every 10 mins) have their level scaled up. The level that they will be scaled to will be a bit less than your highest Gym Pok\u00e9mon Level beaten. This only occurs if there are not already high level Wild Pok\u00e9mon around the player<\/b>.<\/p>\n

          This way Wild Pok\u00e9mon around each player should start to follow the players progression a bit more, and players will start to see Wild Pok\u00e9mon closer to their actual team level more regularly.

          \n– `\/cobgyms whichCache ` – Will tell you which Pok\u00e9 Cache(s) the given Pok\u00e9mon is in and the chance that you get that specific Pok\u00e9mon from that specific cache.
          \n– `\/cobgyms listCache ` – Will tell you all of the Pok\u00e9mon that can be obtained from a given cache, with the overall chance for any given Pok\u00e9mon.
          \n– `\/cobgyms forceLeave ` – Requires permission. Forces a given player to leave the instanced Gym incase they are stuck somehow and can’t get to the exit.<\/p>\n
