## What if\u2026<\/p>\n
\u2026your Pok\u00e9mon could get sick, but stronger for some reason?<\/p>\n
## Features<\/p>\n
– Your Pok\u00e9mon may contract Pok\u00e9rus randomly when battling wild Pok\u00e9mon.
\n– Infected Pok\u00e9mon in your party may affect other Pok\u00e9mon in your party.
\n– Pok\u00e9mon become cured over time.
\n– EV gains are boosted on infected Pok\u00e9mon.<\/p>\n

## Testing<\/p>\n
### Wild Infections<\/p>\n
After running the game at least once with the mod installed, open the config and modify `wildInfectionChanceDenominator` to `3`, then run `\/pokerus reload`. Change this back when you\u2019re done testing, otherwise you will have a 100% chance to gain Pok\u00e9rus after a battle.<\/p>\n
Open the game, battle a wild Pok\u00e9mon, and after the battle, one of your Pok\u00e9mon should have Pok\u00e9rus. You can confirm this by going to the Pok\u00e9mon\u2019s mark list.<\/p>\n
### EV Gain Boost<\/p>\n
Note your Pok\u00e9mon\u2019s current EVs for Speed. Run `\/pokespawn magikarp` and knock it out. Check your Pok\u00e9mon\u2019s new EVs, you should have received 2 instead of 1.<\/p>\n
### Spread to Party<\/p>\n
Set `chanceToSpread` to `1` in the config and run `\/reload`. Make sure you have both an infected Pok\u00e9mon and a non-infected Pok\u00e9mon on your team. Then engage in another battle with a wild Pok\u00e9mon. A previously non-infected Pok\u00e9mon should now be infected.<\/p>\n
### Cured<\/p>\n
After (at max) four in-game days of battling with a Pok\u00e9mon that has contracted Pok\u00e9rus, check their EV page again and you should see that their Pok\u00e9rus infection has been cured. They still gain boosted EVs, they just can\u2019t spread it to other Pok\u00e9mon on their team.<\/p>\n
