\u2026Cobblemon used good ol\u2019 vanilla Minecraft loot tables?<\/p>\n
## Features<\/p>\n
– Adds the ability to create loot tables for various events in the Cobblemon mod:
\n – When a Pok\u00e9mon\u2019s captured.
\n – When a Pok\u00e9mon defeats another in a Pok\u00e9mon battle.
\n – When a Pok\u00e9mon evolves.
\n – When a player hatches a Pok\u00e9mon from an egg.
\n – When a Pok\u00e9mon is killed in the world.
\n – When a player releases a Pok\u00e9mon from their PC.
\n – When a Pok\u00e9mon is resurrected using the fossil revival machine.
\n – When a player chooses a starter Pok\u00e9mon (great for starter-based starter kits!).
\n – When a Pok\u00e9mon ticks in the world (optimized to be cheap).
\n – When a Pok\u00e9mon participates in a battle on the victors\u2019 side.
\n – When a Pok\u00e9mon levels up.
\n– Adds a bunch of Cobblemon-relevant conditions:
\n – Match a Pok\u00e9mon or any Pok\u00e9mon on a team, leveraging the power of `PokemonMatcher`s from Tim Core.
\n – Match the PokeBall a Pok\u00e9mon\u2019s caught with.
\n – Match a player\u2019s Pokedex knowledge on a Pok\u00e9mon.
\n – Match a player\u2019s current Counter values.
\n– Drop stuff where you want stuff to drop, per-dropper type, with an override per dropper.
\n – Drop it in the player\u2019s inventory.
\n – Drop it in the player\u2019s ender storage.
\n – Drop it next to the Pok\u00e9mon entity.
\n – Give it to the Pok\u00e9mon as a held item.
\n – Replace the Pok\u00e9mon\u2019s held item.
\n– Completely customizable with datapacks.
\n– Easy to add new parts for droppers, event handlers, conditions, and drop targets in your own mod.
\n– A new secondary layer between the event and the loot table makes the system much more malleable, replacing the old `\/species\/form` pattern.
\n– Preserves Cobblemon-given drops if instructed to for things Cobblemon already drops for.<\/p>\n

## Testing<\/p>\n
Check out the demo pack below. It has the following basic examples:<\/p>\n
– Capturing a ghost-type Pok\u00e9mon in the nether with a Dusk Ball gives a ghast tear directly to the capturing player\u2019s inventory.
\n– Defeating a Kingambit in a Pok\u00e9mon battle with either a Bisharp or Pawniard drops a stick named \u201cLeader Crest\u201d to the Bisharp\/Pawniard owner\u2019s inventory.
\n– Evolving an Eevee gives a type gem of the same type as the evolution (Electric Gem for Jolteon, Water Gem for Vaporeon, etc).
\n– Hatching a Milcery gives a random sweet. You\u2019ll need a hatching mod, such as Cobbreeding as breeding\u2019s not a thing yet in base mod.
\n– A Pidgey dying while it\u2019s on fire will drop cooked chicken.
\n– Leveling up any Pok\u00e9mon to level 50 will give the Pok\u00e9mon\u2019s owner a Fresh Start Mochi.
\n– Releasing a Pokemon below level 50 will grant an Exp. Candy S, between 51 and 75 an Exp. Candy M, and above 75 an Exp. Candy L.
\n– Resurrecting a Pok\u00e9mon using the fossil revival machine has a chance to give another fossil of that generation.
\n– Picking a starter gives the player a starter kit matching the color of the type of the Pok\u00e9mon picked.
\n– The Pidgey line will drop a feather or a random Pok\u00e9mon feather every 20 ticks and emit a wing flapping sound.
\n– A Shuckle participating in battle on the winning side while holding a berry will turn that berry into berry juice.<\/p>\n

## Known Issues<\/p>\n
– \u2264v1.7.3-1.9.0 had an issue with trying to run the tick dropper too early and getting a null for its own ID. Yeah, doesn\u2019t make sense to me either. \u2265v1.7.3-1.9.1 fixes this by allowing for the ID to be null, and safely failing by not finding any droppers if that\u2019s the case.<\/p>\n
