# ClanSystem \u2013 Lightweight SMP\u2011Friendly Clan Plugin
\n**ClanSystem** is a lightweight and dependency\u2011free Bukkit\/Paper plugin that adds simple, customizable clans to your server. Players can create clans, invite players, demote, promote and display a clean clan tag directly in their **chat-messenges, nametag and tablist** using a safe scoreboard\u2011based suffix system.<\/p>\n
Commands are simple and open for anyone: The plugin is designed for vanilla\u2011style SMP servers and avoids heavy features or external APIs. Because nametag and tablist rendering depends on the server\u2019s scoreboard implementation, compatibility with some modded clients or UI\u2011altering mods may vary. That’s also tested with _TAB v5.5.0_.
