# ChestRestack

## How it works<\/p>\n
### Shift-click a chest
\nIts dead simple.
\nShift-left click on a chest, and all items from your inventory that are already present in the chest will be moved into the chest.
\nYou do not have to open the chest, nor your inventory.
\nThis makes it straightforward and efficient to unload your inventory after a mining session or any other kind of expedition.
\nJust click on every chest in your storage room, and your inventory will be clutter-free in no time.<\/p>\n
### Individual Player Preferences
\nChestRestack also gives every player the option to adjust their individual preferences to tailor the functionality to suit their needs.
\nTo view and configure preferences, use the `\/cr prefs` command.
\nThese preferences include the following:
\n– Should the chest be sorted after restacking?
\n– Should items from the hotbar be moved?
\n– Should tools and weapons be moved?
\n– Should armor be moved?
\n– Should arrows and rockets be moved?
\n– Should food items be moved?
\n– Should potions be moved?
\n– Should shift-right or shift-left click trigger the functionality?
\n– Or should the feature be disabled entirely?<\/p>\n
