# Chest Loot Rebalance!
\nWe all know that Minecraft’s exploration isn’t the most rewarding experience. This Datapack aims to patch that problem by making those adventures worthwhile, or at the very least make it less disappointing.<\/p>\n
### Better Loot
\nFrom this Datapack you can expect to see less useless items, more balanced rewards that match your stage in the game, and some love for underused gear like leather and chainmail armor. I’ve also included more enchanted low-level gear and discouraged instantly throwing it away when upgrading. Also the iron armor found at the Villages is now chainmail for more variety and less advantage.<\/p>\n
### Archaeology
\nI also took the time to remove some filler items from the archaeology loot tables, so useless items like wooden hoes and sticks are not a thing anymore. The rest of the items remain mostly unchanged to retain the original selection.<\/p>\n
### Trial Chambers
\nMost of the Trial Chambers loot has also been reworked. Standard Trial Chambers loot is now focused on mid-game loot, it has less clutter, more emeralds, and overall nice loot. Ominous Trial Chambers have late-game loot that reflects the difficulty level found at that stage.<\/p>\n

### Less Lectern Dependent
\nAdditionally, this rebalance indirectly reduces the game\u2019s heavy reliance on villagers which can be a repetitive and boring game mechanic by including those precious enchanted books in end-game structures so players have options when it comes to obtaining what they need.<\/p>\n
### Woodland Mansions sound good
\nWoodland Mansions had a special treatment. Besides giving them actual useful loot and less clutter, they are the only structure to add some music discs to the mix. We all know about those two music discs that are found everywhere, well now Woodland Mansions have a pretty big collection of discs that can appear. While not every disc is included (so the creeper mechanic still lives), you’ll find a much wider variety for your collection.<\/p>\n

### Stronghold
\nThe Stronghold was a structure full of outdated loot from back when iron was more valuable. It has been updated to match the preparation level of a player that is going to fight the dragon, so no more iron armor and such. Now they provide you with useful items and some ender pearls here and there in case you did not bring enough, you’re welcome.<\/p>\n
### Bastion Remnants
\nBastions were already in a good spot, still I decided to make some small adjustments. I included more ancient debris and netherite scraps to reduce another repetitive mechanic required for netherite gear.<\/p>\n
### Ancient Cities
\nAncient Cities are now a great structure for getting late-game gear and lots of diamonds. Taking into account their rarity I provided lots of rewards and raised the probaility of the silence armor trim from 1.2 to 1.5 percent, just because it looks better \ud83d\ude1b<\/p>\n
### End Cities are actually good
\nEnd Cities are now worthy of being at the end of the game. These structures will now provide no useless iron; instead they will provide more diamonds and diamond gear for your troubles and very useful books for your perfect armor. The goal is to reduce the grind of enchantment gambling required for perfect tools and armor by rewarding players with a reliable way of getting the materials they NEED for such things.<\/p>\n

\nMy goal is to make exploration a true alternative playstyle, where venturing into dangerous structures actually feels exciting and rewarding rather than a letdown.<\/p>\n
