# Chai’s Inventory Sorter<\/p>\n
Chai’s Inventory Sorter is an inventory sorter mod (wow!) that complements the vanilla UI. It not only lets you sort your inventories, but it also lets you perform a couple of handy inventory management shortcuts, like **restock**, **quick stack**, **loot all**, and **deposit all**. It comes with a great default sorting config, but you can change it up to your liking with its powerful tag-based sorting.<\/p>\n

## Usage<\/p>\n
– Press the **sort inventory** or **sort container** buttons to sort your inventory or the container.
\n– Press the **restock** button to refill your stacks from the opened container.
\n– Press the **quick stack** button to move stacks from your inventory that already exist in the container.
\n– **Hold shift** and hover over the restock or quick stack buttons to access the **loot all** and **deposit all** buttons that will take or deposit all items.<\/p>\n
## Configuration<\/p>\n
The mod can be configured to sequentially sort inventories using the following options.<\/p>\n
– `blocks` Sorts blocks first
\n– `items` Sorts items first
\n– `stackables` Sorts stackables items first
\n– `unstackables` Sorts unstackables items first
\n– `item\/namespaced:id` Sorts the specific item first
\n– `item_tag\/namespaced:id` Sorts items that match the item tag first
\n– `block_tag\/namespaced:id` Sorts blocks that match the block tag first
\n– `item_group\/namespaced:id` Sorts items from the item group first
\n– `item_group_order\/namespaced:id` Sorts items according to their order in the item group
\n– `count` Sorts larger stacks first
\n– `damage` Sorts less damaged items first<\/p>\n
## Item Groups<\/p>\n
Here is a list of the default item groups in Minecraft. Mods may add their own creative inventory item groups that you can sort by.<\/p>\n
– `minecraft:building_blocks`
\n– `minecraft:colored_blocked`
\n– `minecraft:natural_blocks`
\n– `minecraft:functional_blocks`
\n– `minecraft:redstone_blocks`
\n– `minecraft:tools_and_utilities`

## Built-in Item Tags<\/p>\n
This mod adds a few item tags that may be helpful for sorting inventories.<\/p>\n
– `sort:combat` Contains swords, bows, tridents, and shields
\n– `sort:tools` Contains pickaxes, axes, shovels, and hoes
\n– `sort:armor` Contains helmets, chestplates, leggings, and boots
\n– `sort:wood_equipment` Contains all wood equipment
\n– `sort:leather_equipment` Contains all leather equipment
\n– `sort:stone_equipment` Contains all stone equipment
\n– `sort:chainmail_equipment` Contains all chainmail equipment
\n– `sort:iron_equipment` Contains all iron equipment
\n– `sort:golden_equipment` Contains all golden equipment
