# How it works<\/p>\n
**_BuffLife_** is a life series inspired by the _Third-Life_ series, created by Grian.<\/p>\n
## What is a Life Series?
\nA Life Series is a spin on the classic multiplayer hardcore experience where each player now has multiple lives to work with. Each life is indicated by a different color:<\/p>\n

BuffLife Twist
\nIn BuffLife, each death grants you an additional positive buff.<\/p>\n
Dark Green – 1 buffs

\nYellow – 3 buffs
\nOrange – 4 buffs
\nRed – 5 buff<\/p>\n
The Boogeyman
\nIn BuffLife, each session will feature a randomly chosen boogeyman. The boogeyman is a non-red player with a curse. If they are unable to secure a kill on another player, then they will be permanently debuffed by a random negative buff.<\/p>\n

\nWhen a boogey is able to succesfully get a kill, they will recieve a **Catalyst Shard**. You may use 7 **Catalyst Shards** to revive a fallen player, using the `\/revive
\nAfter launching your server with the plugin initialized, a folder named “BuffLife” will be created. Inside said folder will be a `config.yml` file. The file contains the following contents:<\/p>\n

\nAll of these are configurable to your heart’s desire- But be careful, for the fireballs, and minecarts can get very powerful!<\/p>\n
