# Sort Chest<\/p>\n
Organize your chest instantly with a single click<\/p>\n
This mod added several buttons in chest GUI.<\/p>\n
– **Sort:** sort items by id, metadata, and quantity.
\n– **Refill:** move same items (between chest and inventory) to chest.
\n– **Fill:** move items from inventory to chest.
\n– **Dump:** move items from chest to inventory.<\/p>\n

### Server?<\/p>\n
**Yes**, you can use the sort chest mod on a server. However, the item might jump for a while after sorting because the
\nmod will emulate mouse clicks rather than directly changing the inventory data.<\/p>\n
### Rebind keys?<\/p>\n
1. Open the mod menu (from ModMenu mod)
\n2. Select “Sort Chest” mod from the left
\n3. Click at \u2699\ufe0f icon on the right
\n4. Rebind keys that you want<\/p>\n
### How does the sort chest mod sort items?<\/p>\n
Items are sorted by their item ID (ascending), followed by its metadata (like wool color code, ascending), and finally
\nby its quantity (descending).<\/p>\n
