This datapack improves compatibility between Botany Pots and several popular farming mods by adding missing crops and fixing multi-block crop behaviour<\/p>\n
# What this datapack does

\u26a0\ufe0f Note: As this is simply a datapack, you do not require all of these mods to be present, it will work fine with just the ones you have. If you are concerned, simply delete their recipe folders from the ZIP<\/p>\n
## \ud83c\udf31 Multi-block crop fixes<\/p>\n
Some crops (such as corn and rice) are multi-block plants where the harvestable logic lives on the upper block.<\/p>\n
This datapack updates Botany Pots recipes to:<\/p>\n
Target the upper \/ harvestable block where appropriate (Currently limited to Rice and Corn, I can’t seem to get Hearty grains to support this behaviour, but as Hearty Grains upper block only drops 2 hearty grains instead of 1, and has no other interaction recipes, I figure it’s fine to leave out until a future update).<\/p>\n
Preserve tool-gated drops and loot conditions (Corn drops corn cobs instead of kernels, and Rice drops Rice Panicles instead of Rice)<\/p>\n
Display the correct mature crop visuals inside the pot (Rice displays Rice Panicles block instead of Rice Crops block)<\/p>\n
## \ud83c\udf4d V1.1 Pineapple Delight Support<\/p>\n
### Pineapple features<\/p>\n
This datapack does a lot to make Pineapple Delight consistent with other delight mods and crops in this datapack, namely<\/p>\n
– Wild Pineapple Crops can now be obtained with Silk Touch or Shears (why you’d want to grow these, I don’t know, but now you can!)
\n– Pineapples can be grown on dirt or sand in botany pots
\n– Added knife harvesting support for fully grown pineapple crops
\n – Pineapples harvested with knives drop two pineapple sides and one pineapple crop (as well as a fortune roll for additional pineapple crop drops).<\/p>\n
### Why remove Avocado Support?<\/p>\n
Simply put, I felt I could better support its compatibility if I kept it with my Botany Tree datapack. Any changes I make to Botany Tree support will be reflected in its inclusion there (like axe stripping support to get stripped jungle logs). If you really want Avocado’s but don’t want to use botany trees, just pull the recipe from either V1.0 or the Botany Tree pack and merge it with the zip.<\/p>\n
## \ud83d\udd2a Notes on knife usage & straw harvesting<\/p>\n
Corn and rice can drop straw when harvested with a knife using this datapack, but Botany Pots does not allow knives in the tool slot by default.<\/p>\n
To enable straw drops in Botany Pots, I recommend also installing my companion pack:<\/p>\n
Botany Pots x Farmer’s Delight Compatibility Pack (also adds rich soil support).<\/p>\n
Using a knife to harvest Rice will also drop Rice instead of Rice Panicles alongside Straw, and will auto-cut pineapples into pineapple sides using these datapacks together!<\/p>\n
