# Overview<\/p>\n
## Black Lung is a mod which increases the difficulty of mining coal, venturing into the end and as of Version 1.5, exploring the sculky depths.<\/p>\n
### This mod adds:<\/p>\n
1 New Item<\/p>\n
2 New Blocks<\/p>\n
4 New Effects<\/p>\n
3 New Potions<\/p>\n
## Items<\/p>\n
### Gas Mask<\/p>\n
– Stops the Player from getting The Black Lung effect when mining Coal<\/p>\n
– It DOES NOT remove The Black Lung effect if the Player already has the effect<\/p>\n
– Greatly reduces the Player’s vision<\/p>\n
## Blocks<\/p>\n
### Coal Dust<\/p>\n
– Slows the Player’s movement when walked on<\/p>\n
– Is coughed up when the Player has The Black Lung effect<\/p>\n
### Ender Dust<\/p>\n
– Slows the Player’s movement when walked on<\/p>\n
– Is coughed up when the Player has The Ender Lung effect<\/p>\n
## Effects<\/p>\n
### Strong Lungs<\/p>\n
– Effect is only obtainable via potion<\/p>\n
– Removes the effects of The Black Lung, The Ender Lung and The Sculk Lung instantly<\/p>\n
### The Black Lung<\/p>\n
– Caused by mining coal with no breathing protection<\/p>\n
– Continuously damages the Player until the effect is removed<\/p>\n
– Makes the Player cough up Coal Dust<\/p>\n
### The Ender Lung<\/p>\n
– Caused by getting attacked by a mob from The End with no breathing protection<\/p>\n
– Continuously damages the Player until the effect is removed<\/p>\n
– Makes the Player cough up Ender Dust<\/p>\n
### The Sculk Lung<\/p>\n
– Caused by picking up or walking on Sculk related items and blocks with no breathing protection<\/p>\n
– Continuously damages the Player until the effect is removed<\/p>\n
– The coughing may call something unwanted<\/p>\n
## Potions<\/p>\n
### Potion of Strong Lungs<\/p>\n
– Gives the Player Strong Lungs<\/p>\n
– Lasts for 12 minutes<\/p>\n
– Made with brewing a Pufferfish with a Thick Potion<\/p>\n
– Comes with Splash, Lingering and Arrow Variants<\/p>\n
### Potion of The Black Lung<\/p>\n
– Gives the Player The Black Lung<\/p>\n
– Lasts for 30 seconds<\/p>\n
– Made with brewing a Block of Coal with a Thick Potion<\/p>\n
– Comes with Splash, Lingering and Arrow Variants<\/p>\n
### Potion of The Ender Lung<\/p>\n
– Gives the Player The Ender Lung<\/p>\n
– Lasts for 30 seconds<\/p>\n
– Made with brewing an Enderpearl with a Thick Potion<\/p>\n
– Comes with Splash, Lingering and Arrow Variants<\/p>\n
## Config<\/p>\n
– Disable or Enable coughing up Coal Dust<\/p>\n
– Disable or Enable coughing up Ender Dust<\/p>\n
– Disable or Enable spawning the Warden<\/p>\n
– Adjustable chance for succumbing to Black Lung<\/p>\n
– Adjustable chance for summoning The Warden<\/p>\n
– Adjust the Sculk Lung Cooldown Length<\/p>\n
