# Better Elytras
\nHave you ever wanted better customization for your Elytras in Minecraft? Introducing an all-new way to express yourself in Vanilla Minecraft, Better Elytras adds several new features to vanilla elytras!<\/p>\n
## Installation
\nAll you need to do to install this pack is properly add the datapack to your world and load it, and equip the resource pack!<\/p>\n
### NOTE: This pack is NOT meant to be used with existing elytras. Picking up an elytra will overwrite its data, such as enchantments.<\/p>\n
## Features<\/p>\n
### Dyeable Elytras
\nElytras can now be dyed using the same system as leather armor! Simply combine them in a crafting table with dye.<\/p>\n

### Trimmable Elytras
\nElytras can now be trimmed with any of the vanilla armor trims! Our designs were inspired by the vanilla trims, but we added our own flair to them! Credit to @MiffenKop for the awesome trim textures.<\/p>\n

### Secret Trims
\nSecret Trims are a little something special I’m going to add over time; they have special ways to be found and replace the entire elytra texture. I’ll let you discover how to find them!<\/p>\n

## Known Issues
\n– Washing an Elytra will apply the leather armor color #1
\n– Elytras are enchantable with chestplate enchantments. This is not a feature, rather a limitation I do not know how to bypass (yet) #2
