## MIGRATING FROM “AVP”<\/p>\n
If you are migrating from the 1.21.1 “AVP” mod (found here: https:\/\/modrinth.com\/mod\/avp) to the split up AVP files, you MUST use ALL modules provided (Alien, Human and Predator) to avoid losing data in your worlds and\/or corrupting your worlds.\u00a0Do not use the standalone AVP mod as it will no longer be updated.<\/p>\n
Also, please **BACK UP YOUR WORLDS** before migrating! The different modules should migrate their respective content automatically, but it never hurts to back things up just in case! \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

### Radiation System<\/p>\n
A dynamic radiation mechanic with three phases:<\/p>\n
1. **Incubation (0-20%)** – No damage as the body adjusts.
\n2. **Peak Damage (20-80%)** – Maximum radiation sickness with escalating side effects.
\n3. **Taper-off (80-100%)** – Symptoms subside as the effect wears off.<\/p>\n
Side effects progress from weakness and hunger to slowness and blindness at higher exposure levels. Radiation-resistant armor provides protection.<\/p>\n
**Radioactive Materials:**
\n– Autunite ore and blocks emit radiation.
\n– Irradiated grenades spread contamination.
\n– Lead chests provide shielded storage for radioactive items.<\/p>\n
### Gene System<\/p>\n
