\nCurrently included in Vanilla Archery are the following:
\n– Five tiered bows
\n– Five tiered crossbows
\n– Two specialized bows
\n– Two specialized crossbows
\n– Four items which assist archery<\/p>\n
Vanilla Archery reworks the bow\/crossbow system. Now, instead of bows being single-tier like the mace or trident, bows are _tiered_ items with wooden, copper, iron, gold, diamond, and netherite variants.<\/p>\n

## Tiered Bows<\/p>\n
Each tier deals 0.5 more damage than the previous one except for copper which deals one more damage than a wooden bow. Gold, doing the same amount of damage as Wood, instead is given a bonus of +7 enchantability. Tiered bows have more or less durability than the base wooden bow depending on their respective sword’s durability when compared to a wooden sword.<\/p>\n

## Specialized Bows<\/p>\n
There are two types of tiered bows currently implemented into Vanilla Archery, those being Trim Bows and Autobows.<\/p>\n
### Trim Bows\/Crossbows<\/p>\n
Trim bows are bows themed around a structure’s trim which require said trim to craft. Some examples are the Crossbow of the Turtle Master, requiring a Tide trim to craft, and the Breezebow, requiring a Flow trim to craft.<\/p>\n

### Autobows\/Crossbows<\/p>\n
Autobows are bows that allow you to sprint while firing them. The base Autobow additionally gives the user 10s of invisibility if you attack while sneaking and lights its arrows on fire.<\/p>\n
Autocrossbows are crossbows that instantly load and light their arrows on fire. The base Autocrossbow cannot have multishot and lights its arrows on fire. The main downside to autocrossbows is that they do not have the damage or enchantability bonuses tiered crossbows have.<\/p>\n

## Other items<\/p>\n
Additionally currently included in this datapack are support items. When held in the offhand, these items give bonuses to the bow or crossbow you are holding in the mainhand.<\/p>\n
### Quivers<\/p>\n
In this datapack, there are two quivers: the normal quiver and heavy quiver. The normal variant is quite cheap while the heavy one requires a netherite upgrade and more costly materials. While held in the offhand, the normal quiver allows shooting three arrows at once while the heavy quiver allows shooting five angled closer together.<\/p>\n

### Cranequins<\/p>\n
Historically the main downside to crossbows was the difficulty faced when loading them. To help with the force needed to load a crossbow sometimes a cranequin was used. In this datapack, there are two cranequins: the normal cranequin and the heavy cranequin. While held in the offhand, the normal cranequin shortens the time needed to load a crossbow by 1\/4 of a second while the heavy cranequin shortens the time needed to load a crossbow by 3\/4 of a second.<\/p>\n

### Advancements<\/p>\n
Vanilla Archery adds a bunch of advancements for crafting support items, bows, and crossbows. There are currently no secret or hidden advancements.<\/p>\n
### Recipes<\/p>\n
