# TooManyGen<\/p>\n

## What is this?
\nThis plugin is designed to help server owners who:
\n– **cannot pregenerate** their world
\n– have elytras enabled
\n– want to keep a playable view distance<\/p>\n
## How does it work?
\nThis plugin will count the number of chunks generated by each player. At a certain
\nthreshold, it will start to punish the players by:
\n– increasing the damage to elytra
\n– make players risk losing their elytra
\n– decreasing their view distance<\/p>\n
## How do I use it?
\n1. Download the plugin and put it in your plugins folder.
\n2. **Optionally** download the **ProtocolLib**
\n3. Start the server once with the plugin enabled.
\n4. Edit the config to your liking.
\n5. Restart the server.<\/p>\n

\n \/\/ so setting this to 16 means that player can generate 32 chunks per second
\n coolingRate: 16
\n \/\/ how much faster is the cooling rate when player stacked up a large number
\n \/\/ the lower the value, the more cooling is speeded up
\n coolingSpeedup: 1.25
\n \/\/ the view distance values to set when the player is punished
\n viewDistanceValues:
\n – 8
\n – 6
\n – 4
\n \/\/ the threshold at which we set the specified view distance
\n \/\/ e.g view distance of 8 at 800 chunks, 6 at 1600 chunks, 4 at 3200 chunks

\n \/\/ whether to enable elytra damage

\n \/\/ the starting multiplier to the elytra damage, grows exponentially

\n \/\/ the multiplier exceeding which the player might lose their elytra

## Permissions
\n– `toomanygen.bypass` – bypass the punishments
\n– `toomanygen.command` – use commands
\n– `toomanygen.command.reload` – use reload command<\/p>\n
## Commands
\n– `\/toomanygen reload` – reload the config, not recommended to use in production<\/p>\n
## Support
\nThe plugin is developed for a private use and there is no support, features are provided “as is”. There is maintenance though, I may fix any bugs you find.
