\nTemperature is a Fabric mod for Minecraft 1.21 that introduces a dynamic thermal system into survival gameplay. Every element of the environment \u2014 the biome you’re in, the time of day, the season, the altitude, the weather, what you’re wearing, and even what you eat \u2014 contributes to a single value: your body temperature. Ignore it at your cost.<\/p>\n

\nYour temperature is shaped by the world around you:<\/p>\n
Biome \u2014 Deserts scorch, tundras freeze, forests breathe. Each biome has a base temperature derived from vanilla climate data, smoothly blended as you cross borders.
\nSeason \u2014 Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter rotate on an automatic cycle, each shifting the global temperature. You can override the season with a command at any time.
\nDay\/Night Cycle \u2014 Mornings are cold, middays are warm, nights drop. Temperature breathes with the sun.
\nAltitude \u2014 Underground is warmer, high peaks are brutal. The further from sea level, the more extreme the shift.
\nRain \u2014 Rainfall chills the air by 5\u00b0C instantly.
\nNearby Blocks \u2014 Lava, fire, and heat sources warm you. Water bodies and wet areas cool you down.<\/p>\n

\nThe climate is not static \u2014 it evolves:<\/p>\n
Heat and Cold Waves \u2014 Randomly occurring multi-day weather events that shift the global temperature by \u00b18\u00b0C. Waves last 7 in-game days and are followed by a cooldown before the next one.
\nMorning Frost \u2014 In cold and temperate biomes, the hours between dusk and early morning trigger a frost modifier, dropping temperature further depending on the biome’s vanilla climate value.
\nMicroclimate Events \u2014 Individual players may be caught in localized weather anomalies: a cold snap rolling in off the ocean, a heat pocket over the desert, a chill settling into the swamp. These last 1\u20133 days and vary by biome type.<\/p>\n

Armor \u2014 Wearing more pieces retains body heat. A fully armored player gains +13\u00b0C. Going naked in the cold costs you \u221215\u00b0C.
\nFood and Drinks \u2014 Water bottles and milk cool you down. Mushroom stew, rabbit stew, and beetroot soup warm you up. Potions provide minor relief.
\nFire \u2014 Standing on fire spikes your temperature by +30\u00b0C for a short burst.<\/p>\n
