You can’t just find one in a chest \u2014 you have to craft it:<\/p>\n

## \ud83d\udca7 What It Does<\/p>\n
Place a Super Sponge near water and it will flood-fill outward, absorbing everything in its path \u2014 up to **500 blocks** by default (configurable).<\/p>\n
It handles all of the following:<\/p>\n
– Regular water source blocks and flowing water
\n– Waterlogged stairs, slabs, fences, and other blocks
\n– Seagrass and tall seagrass
\n– Kelp and kelp plants
\n– Coral and coral fans
\n– Bubble columns<\/p>\n
After absorbing, the sponge turns wet just like a vanilla sponge would.<\/p>\n

## \ud83d\udd25 Drying Your Sponge<\/p>\n
A wet Super Sponge dries the same way a vanilla sponge does:<\/p>\n
– **Furnace** \u2014 smelt it to dry it out
\n– **Nether** \u2014 place it and it dries on its own<\/p>\n
Either way it comes back as a Super Sponge \u2014 it will never lose its identity or revert to a plain sponge.<\/p>\n

– Placed sponge locations are **saved to disk** and survive server restarts
\n– Breaking a placed Super Sponge always drops it back as a Super Sponge with up-to-date lore
