# Small Logic Tweaks
\n**Minecraft logic is weird. We\u2019re making it make sense\u2014one block at a time.**<\/p>\n
Small Logic Tweaks is a lightweight Vanilla+ mod focused on intuitive interactions that feel like they should already exist in Minecraft.<\/p>\n
This is not a tech mod, automation overhaul, or progression expansion.<\/p>\n
Minecraft already encourages certain player behaviors naturally:
\n* restoring landscapes
\n* building kitchens
\n* clearing forests
\n* large-scale building<\/p>\n
But Vanilla mechanics do not always support those behaviors intuitively.<\/p>\n
These tweaks aim to close that gap while preserving Vanilla balance and pacing.<\/p>\n

## \ud83e\uddb4 Bone Meal: Instant Greenery<\/p>\n
Why do you need Silk Touch just to start a patch of grass?<\/p>\n
* **Instant Surface Conversion:** Apply Bone Meal directly to Dirt blocks to instantly begin natural grass spreading.
\n* **Biome Awareness:** In Mushroom biomes, Dirt becomes Mycelium instead.
\n* **Vanilla Integration:** Uses native sounds, particles, and behavior for a seamless Vanilla feel.<\/p>\n
This mechanic is not intended to replace Silk Touch entirely.
\nIt simply removes the awkward requirement of transporting a grass block halfway across the world just to restore natural terrain.<\/p>\n

## \ud83e\ude93 Timber<\/p>\n
Tired of climbing giant trees just to remove the top few logs?<\/p>\n
Timber transforms your axe into a specialized forestry tool.<\/p>\n
* Breaking the base log can fell the entire tree.
\n* Only naturally generated leaves are targeted, preventing accidental destruction of wooden builds.
\n* Hold **Shift** to temporarily disable Timber and mine normally.
\n* Timber axes gain a modest combat boost to improve survivability during extended forest-clearing trips.<\/p>\n
Higher Timber levels can support extremely large natural trees, though larger trees require proportionally more time to cut.<\/p>\n

Small Logic Tweaks is built around one core principle:<\/p>\n
> Improve interaction flow without removing gameplay effort.<\/p>\n
These tweaks are intentionally designed to remain:
\n* manual rather than automated
\n* immersive rather than excessive
\n* supportive rather than progression-skipping<\/p>\n
These systems also include intentional limitations and tradeoffs to preserve Vanilla gameplay flow:
\n* felling massive trees takes time
\n* Timber axes cannot receive Efficiency
\n* large-scale cutting may briefly increase server load<\/p>\n
Timber intentionally avoids Efficiency compatibility to preserve precision building and reduce accidental large-scale destruction.<\/p>\n
For building:
\n* use Efficiency<\/p>\n
For forestry work:
\n* use Timber<\/p>\n
Different tools for different jobs \u2014 just like Vanilla Minecraft.<\/p>\n

* Designed for Vanilla-style gameplay

* use Water Bottles directly on Concrete Powder

\n* simplify large-scale concrete building<\/p>\n

Players build kitchens constantly, yet most cooking remains hidden inside utility blocks.<\/p>\n
* cook dropped food directly on Magma Blocks
\n* visible slow-cooking interaction
\n* food may burn if left unattended too long<\/p>\n

Stone has precision cutting.<\/p>\n
Wood still doesn’t.<\/p>\n
* less wasteful wood crafting

## \ud83c\udf31 Jungle Sustainability<\/p>\n
Jungle trees are technically renewable \u2014 until players accidentally erase the biome.<\/p>\n
* slightly improved Jungle Sapling drops
\n* better long-term jungle sustainability<\/p>\n

## \ud83d\udc3d Sniffer: Archeological Flora<\/p>\n
Minecraft presents Sniffers as ancient plant hunters.<\/p>\n
They barely uncover ancient flora.<\/p>\n
* Sniffers can occasionally discover rare botanical relics
\n* expands the archeological fantasy of the mob<\/p>\n

Charcoal requires deliberate player production, yet behaves almost identically to ordinary Coal.<\/p>\n
* craft Black Dye directly from Charcoal
\n* gives Charcoal a small practical identity<\/p>\n

Maintaining equipment and evolving equipment are not the same thing.<\/p>\n
* repairing durability no longer increases RepairCost
\n* renaming items no longer increases RepairCost
\n* enchantment upgrades still increase long-term cost<\/p>\n

## \ud83e\uddda Allay: Music & Memory<\/p>\n
Allays clearly love music and clearly need rescuing.<\/p>\n
Vanilla Minecraft never fully commits to either idea.<\/p>\n
* rescued Allays permanently remember their first savior
\n* music can permanently anchor nearby Allays
\n* duplicated Allays require new bonding<\/p>\n

Floating mobs probably should not stomp Turtle Eggs.<\/p>\n
* lightweight hovering mobs no longer break Turtle Eggs<\/p>\n
