# SlimLine 1.8.9<\/p>\n
SlimLine is a **lightweight modpack for Legacy Fabric 1.8.9** that aims to simplify, optimize, and refine the vanilla experience.<\/p>\n
It is designed to be as **unobtrusive** and **stable** as possible, while offering notable **performance improvements** (especially for older machines), together with some **quality-of-life enhancements**.<\/p>\n
Due to its nature, SlimLine should be **fully interoperable with vanilla**, allowing servers and clients to connect with each other seamlessly.<\/p>\n
Made and tested with Prism Launcher. Compatibility with other launchers wasn’t tested.<\/p>\n
## Feature List<\/p>\n
#### Performance Optimization
\nThrough Alternate Current, Phosphor-Legacy, Ksyxis, and SleepBackground, the performance of the game is optimized while conserving behavior and compatibility.<\/p>\n
Mipmaplevel and Language Fix makes changing language nearly instant.<\/p>\n
Ksyxis can be disabled if you need to use the spawn chunks functionality (e.g. for automatic mob farms that require it).<\/p>\n
Note: Optifine could be added to the modpack (through Legacy Optifabric), but it was left out to better preserve vanilla behavior and interface.<\/p>\n
#### Bug Fixes<\/p>\n
Legacy VanillaFix, legacy-crash-fix, and MouseDelayFix-fabric are used to fix small bugs within the game, such as the hand glitching when riding minecarts, and cursor inaccuracies when moving the mouse quickly with low fps.<\/p>\n
#### Improvements<\/p>\n
– TabFocus brings keyboard control to select and click buttons in the game menus;
\n– Realms Button Remover helps to clear up the title screen;
\n– Legacy Better Ping Display adds ping values in the multiplayer tab menu;
\n– legacy chunk borders brings the modern chunk border view with F3 + G;
\n– Show My Hunger makes the hunger bar visible when riding a boat or minecart.
\n– Extra Options backports the distortion effects and FOV effects accessibility settings.
\n– Don’t Clear Chat History makes it so chat history isn’t cleared after disconnecting and relogging to a server.
\n– MenuFPSUnlocker raises the frame rate of the main menu from 30fps to 120fps.<\/p>\n
