# Skillable Mod for Minecraft 1.20.1<\/p>\n
Skillable mod has arrived for Minecraft 1.20.1! Most of the original features have now been implemented, and more are planned for the future!<\/p>\n
## About Skillable
\nSkillable is a progression control system with eight different skills. Players need to level up these skills to unlock stronger tools, weapons, or more advanced blocks. Currently controllable content includes:
\n– **Block destruction**
\n– **Attacking entities**
\n– **Tool and weapon usage**<\/p>\n
All features can be configured in the configuration files, including level requirements and suitable entities.<\/p>\n
## Modified Vanilla Behavior
\n– Items and blocks cannot be used or placed unless the required skill level has been reached.
\n– Higher-level entities cannot be attacked unless the required skill level is reached.
\n– Sheep no longer drop wool when killed (configurable).<\/p>\n
## How to Use
\nPress the \u201cG\u201d key in-game to open the Skill panel. The skill panel will show:
\n– Your current level
\n– The level required to upgrade to the next level
\n– And more…<\/p>\n
When you reach the required level, the number will turn green, and you can click the corresponding skill button to upgrade.<\/p>\n
## Configuration
\n### Skill Locks
\nSkill locks can configure:
\n– Item or weapon usage requirements
\n– Entity attack level requirements<\/p>\n
The `attack_skill_locks.json` file can configure attack level requirements for entities.
\nThe `craft_skill_locks.json` is not yet implemented.
\nThe `skill_locks.json` file can configure usage requirements for any item or block, with default examples already included.<\/p>\n
## Bug Fixes
\n– Fixed a crash or infinite loading bug when entering the End Portal after killing the Ender Dragon.
\n– Fixed some potential bugs where players could not respawn after death.<\/p>\n
## Performance Improvements
\n– Significantly optimized performance in Creative mode Inventory. More optimizations are expected in the future.<\/p>\n
## Future Plans
\n– Adding additional features.
\n– Adding more mod compatibility.<\/p>\n
