Simply Swords: Cataclysm adds weapons for materials added by L Ender’s Cataclysm: **Ignitium**, **Cursium**,\u00a0**Witherite**, **Ancient Metal** and **Black Steel**!<\/p>\n
Ignitium Ability:\u00a0**Blazing Brand**<\/p>\n
On hit, _75% chance_ to apply Ignis’ Blazing Brand effect on enemies to the target for _6 seconds_. \u00a0Consecutive hits can increase the effect’s amplifier, to _a maximum of 4 (V)_. \u00a0Blazing Brand reduces the target’s Armor and Armor Toughness _by 20%_, multiplied by the effect’s amplifier. \u00a0Attackers wielding Ignitium weapons also get a little health back via Ignis’ lifesteal ability. \u00a0Health returned depends on attack speed, the Blazing Brand effect’s amplifier, and lifestealMultiplier\u00a0in the config.<\/p>\n
This ability mimics Ignis’ armor shredding and lifesteal abilties.<\/p>\n
Cursium Ability:\u00a0**Accursed Rage**<\/p>\n
On hit, _50% chance_ to apply the Accursed Rage effect to the user for _5.5 seconds_. \u00a0Consecutive hits can increase the effect’s amplifier, to _a maximum of 4 (V)_. \u00a0Attackers with the effect deal\u00a0_1.0 additional damage_ multiplied by the effect’s amplifier when wielding Cursium weapons. \u00a0With an amplifier of 5, players can do up to 5.0 more damage by default! \u00a0<\/p>\n
This ability mimics Maledictus’ rage meter.<\/p>\n
Witherite Ability: **Mecha Smite**<\/p>\n
On hit,\u00a0_100% chance_ to inflict _Wither II_ for\u00a0_5 seconds_, and set them on fire for\u00a0_5 seconds_. \u00a0If the user is\u00a0_below 50% of their max health_, they are given\u00a0_Regeneration II_ for\u00a0_5 seconds_.<\/p>\n
Witherite Ability: **Mecha Pulse**<\/p>\n
Oh hit,\u00a0_75% chance_ to apply the Pulse Charge effect to the user for\u00a0_7 seconds_. \u00a0Consecutive hits can increase the effect’s amplifier, to _a maximum of 9 (X)_. \u00a0A shockwave is released upon reaching the effect’s maximum amplifier, completely stunning the target for _10 seconds_ and dealing\u00a0_4.0 additional damage_. \u00a0The Pulse Charge effect will then be removed, and the user will be given the Pulse Cooldown effect for _40 seconds_, during which they will be unable to accumulate Pulse Charge.<\/p>\n
Ancient Metal and Black Steel weapons have no extra abilities. \u00a0Ignitium, Cursium and Witherite weapons are all fireproof and unbreakable, and their abilities have custom sounds and particles.<\/p>\n
Ancient Metal, Black Steel and Witherite weapons are crafted like normal. \u00a0Ignitium and Cursium weapons must be upgraded from Netherite using their respective ingots and upgrade templates in a smithing table.<\/p>\n
This mod also contains a few miniscule texture tweaks to netherite weapons, and a fix for the Greathammer item template model (the front of the hammer faced the player when held, now the back does instead)<\/p>\n
If something is not to your liking, **there is a VERY extensive server config for this mod. \u00a0Almost everything is configurable, including everything in italics above!** \u00a0If I missed something you want configurable, please let me know in the comments!<\/p>\n
A few things cannot be configured, primarily weapon durability and enchantability. \u00a0In this case I recommend using another mod or a KubeJS script that allows you to change Tier stats on startup. \u00a0If you want to remove recipes or item items in recipe viewers, you’ll need to create a datapack or use something like KubeJS.<\/p>\n
