## What is SimpleStatTrak?<\/p>\n

**SimpleStatTrak** brings the iconic CS:GO StatTrak\u2122 experience to Minecraft. Track kills, damage, blocks mined, arrows shot, and dozens of other statistics \u2014 all displayed directly in the item’s lore. No database required. Stats live on the item itself, forever.<\/p>\n

Pick up any weapon, tool, or armor piece, run `\/stattrak add`, and watch the numbers climb.<\/p>\n

## How To Use<\/p>\n

1. Hold any supported item in your main hand
\n2. Run `\/stattrak add`
\n3. The item now tracks stats based on plugin config
\n4. Use the item normally \u2014 stats update automatically<\/p>\n

**To stop tracking:** `\/stattrak remove` (stats are preserved, just hidden)<\/p>\n

**To see stats in chat:** `\/stattrak info`<\/p>\n

**To reset stats:** `\/stattrak reset` (run twice within 30 seconds to confirm)<\/p>\n

## Technical Notes<\/p>\n

– Stats are stored using Bukkit’s `PersistentDataContainer` \u2014 they survive restarts, drops, and inventory transfers
\n– No database, no async I\/O, no file writes \u2014 completely zero-overhead storage
\n– Stats are tracked per-item, not per-player \u2014 if someone picks up your sword, their kills count on your sword
\n– Creative mode tracking is disabled by default (toggle in config)
\n– The `SPEAR` item type is gracefully handled \u2014 if the item doesn’t exist in your server version, it is silently skipped<\/p>\n
