# Serene Seasons Plus<\/p>\n
This mod extends Serene Seasons with additional snow and season behavior.
\nIt is built to work with Project Atmosphere and shares data with it when present.<\/p>\n
## Important<\/p>\n
The message saying that a performance mod is required comes from this mod.
\nIt will be patched in the next update.<\/p>\n
Forge is supported only up to 1.20.1.
\nFrom 1.20.2 and above, the mod will be NeoForge only.<\/p>\n
## What this mod does<\/p>\n
### Snow piling and melting<\/p>\n
Snow piles up and melts per player instead of globally.<\/p>\n
Snow piling happens during snowfall.
\nSnow melting removes layers progressively instead of deleting the block.<\/p>\n
The mod tracks how many snow layers each block should have and dynamically adds or removes layers.
\nThis system can be buggy for now and will improve over time.<\/p>\n
At the first snowfall of early winter, the internal snow counter is reset.
\nThe mod then randomly decides an average snow depth per area and applies it.<\/p>\n
### Project Atmosphere integration<\/p>\n
Designed to work with Project Atmosphere.<\/p>\n
Snow piling can be driven by cloud data.
\nSnowStorm integration is planned and currently in development.
\nSnow will pile only in areas where clouds actually produced snow.<\/p>\n
### Better Days integration<\/p>\n
With Better days, days and night length change throught out the seasons.<\/p>\n
### Canadian seasons preset<\/p>\n
Season timing follows average Montreal Quebec Canada climate data.<\/p>\n
For example, if it is February in real life, the world will be in mid winter.<\/p>\n
