World generators?<br \/>\n**RHLeafDecay** relies on Minecraft\u2019s natural leaf decay. For it to work, leaves must be recognized as part of a tree and not be persistent.<\/p>\n<p>\u2705 Vanilla trees work because their leaves naturally decay after the trunk is removed.<br \/>\n\u26a0\ufe0f Custom trees and world generators cause two major issues:<br \/>\n&#8220;&#8220;<br \/>\n&#8211; Leaves never decay if marked persistent  \u2192  RHLeafDecay can\u2019t remove them.<br \/>\n&#8211; Leaves vanish instantly if attached to a block that isn\u2019t recognized as a tree trunk.<br \/>\n&#8220;&#8220;<\/p>\n<p>## <u>Why does this happen?<\/u><br \/>\n**RHLeafDecay** checks if leaves are linked to a valid trunk before triggering decay. Many world generators mark leaves as persistent to prevent unwanted decay. Custom trees may use non-standard materials for trunks, making them unrecognizable to the plugin.<\/p>\n<p>## <u>What can I do?<\/u><br \/>\n**RHLeafDecay** only works with non-persistent leaves and standard tree trunks.<br \/>\nYou can manually fix leaves using `\/data merge block {persistent:false}`, but this isn\u2019t practical on a large scale.<br \/>\nIf your world relies heavily on custom trees, **RHLeafDecay** <u>won\u2019t work<\/u> as expected.<br \/>\n## <u>Conclusion<\/u><br \/>\nIf leaves aren\u2019t detected as part of a real tree or are persistent, they either won\u2019t decay at all or will disappear too quickly.
