Give every happy ghast its own unique, permanent flying speed \u2014 just like horses!
\nNo more identical ghasts; each one you tame will be either slow, steady, fast, or extremely rare and lightning-quick.<\/p>\n

\n Randomized speeds \u2013 Every new happy ghast gets a randomly assigned flying speed when first ridden.<\/p>\n
Horse-like rarity tiers \u2013 Speeds are distributed with varying probabilities:<\/p>\n
50% \u2013 Normal (0.05, vanilla default)<\/p>\n
30% \u2013 Slow (0.04)<\/p>\n
15% \u2013 Fast (0.8)<\/p>\n
5% \u2013 Very Fast (0.1)<\/p>\n
Permanent per ghast \u2013 Once set, the speed stays with that ghast forever (even after reloading the world).<\/p>\n
Lightweight \u2013 Runs once per second, minimal performance impact.<\/p>\n
Works in multiplayer \u2013 Each player experiences their own ghast’s speed independently.<\/p>\n
## \u2699\ufe0f How It Works
\n The datapack uses a simple but effective mechanic:<\/p>\n
Every second it checks for players riding happy ghasts.<\/p>\n
When a new ghast is mounted (one without the ghast_speed_set tag), it generates a random number 1\u2013100.<\/p>\n
Based on that number, it assigns one of four speed tiers and sets the flying_speed attribute permanently.<\/p>\n
The ghast is tagged to prevent re-rolling.<\/p>\n
The speeds are carefully chosen to match the horse feel \u2013 from sluggish to thrillingly fast.<\/p>\n

Place it in your world’s datapacks folder:<\/p>\n
Singleplayer: .minecraft\/saves\/world_name\/datapacks\/<\/p>\n

Start the world (or run \/reload if already in-game).<\/p>\n
Optional \u2013 If the load message doesn’t appear, run \/function hello:load once.<\/p>\n
That’s it! All new happy ghasts from now on will have random speeds.<\/p>\n

Q: Can I use this on an existing world with already-tamed ghasts?
\nA: Yes, but only new ghasts spawned after installation will have random speeds. Existing ghasts keep their original speed.<\/p>\n
