## \ud83d\udd25 Intro<\/p>\n

Portable Crates are like early-game shulker boxes. To balance and fit with vanilla, they are only one-time-use and lower capacity. That said, they have a variety of uses from early game to end game – notably alleviating the early game inventory management issues.<\/p>\n

## Details<\/p>\n

### General<\/p>\n

2 blocks added to the game:<\/p>\n

<\/center><\/p>\n

Both are containers with 9 slots of inventory space. Together, the crates function like a smaller, one-way shulker box.<\/p>\n

– Place a _crate_ down and put items in it like any container.
\n– When you break the _crate_ block, it will drop as a _sealed crate_ with those items.
\n– When you place and break a _sealed crate_, the _sealed crate_ will be destroyed and drop its contents.<\/p>\n

Sealed crates can’t be accessed by the player (unless in creative mode). Droppers and Hoppers also won’t interact with it.<\/p>\n

#### Other Details<\/p>\n

– If you break an empty crate, it will just drop the crate again.
\n– If you break a sealed crate with silk touch, it will drop the sealed crate again.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

– Sealed crates and shulker boxes can’t be stored in crates
\n– Both crates can be stored in shulker boxes<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

– Crates stack to 64, sealed crates are unstackable
\n– Craft a crate with 4 iron ingots and any 4 planks:<\/p>\n

### Redstone<\/p>\n

Dispensers can place crate blocks.<\/p>\n

Pistons extending into crate blocks will break them, causing them to drop whatever they’re expected to drop, similar to if a player did it.<\/p>\n

Comparators read the fullness of the crates, like other containers.<\/p>\n

Hoppers\/droppers work as expected with crates, but do not interact with sealed crates.<\/p>\n

### Decoration
\nCrates are directional, so placing at different orientations makes the diagonal go one way or the other. The wood color is based on spruce.<\/p>\n

## Installation<\/p>\n

**Install** by simply copying the downloaded jar file into the mods folder of your Fabric Minecraft instance with fabric api installed. Alternatively, it is also compatible with Quilt and the QFAPI. <\/p>\n

It is required for both the client and the server.<\/p>\n
