## What Is This Mod?<\/p>\n
**Not So Shrimple** adds dangerous crustacean-themed creatures, animated weapons, upgrade items, and strange aquatic encounters to your world.<\/p>\n
This port keeps the spirit of the original mod while adapting it for **Minecraft 1.20.1**, **Forge 47+**, and **GeckoLib 4**.<\/p>\n
## Creatures<\/p>\n
### Crayfish<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Crayfish are hostile semi-aquatic mobs with multiple variants.
\nThey are tough, aggressive, and come with different visual styles depending on how they are summoned.<\/p>\n
In this port, crayfish no longer spawn naturally. Instead, they are summoned using a **Bucket of Bait**.<\/p>\n
Crayfish variants include:<\/p>\n
* Normal variants from regular water
\n* Ice variants from cold biome water
\n* Blood\/fire variants from Nether lava
\n* Rare special variants<\/p>\n
### Maneater<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The Maneater is a hostile shell creature found near shipwrecks.
\nIts spawning has been reworked for this port so encounters feel more controlled and less spammy.<\/p>\n
Maneaters can appear near:<\/p>\n
* Shipwrecks
\n* Beached shipwrecks<\/p>\n
Spawn rates are intentionally limited, making each encounter feel more deliberate.<\/p>\n
## Bucket of Bait<\/p>\n
The **Bucket of Bait** is the new way to summon crayfish.<\/p>\n
Craft it using a bucket and raw fish, then throw it into water or lava.
\nAfter a short delay, it has a configurable chance to summon a crayfish nearby.<\/p>\n
Summoning rules:<\/p>\n
* Throw into water to summon normal or ice crayfish
\n* Throw into cold biome water for ice variants
\n* Throw into Nether lava for blood\/fire variants
\n* The summoned crayfish appears nearby, not directly on top of the bait
\n* Summoned crayfish briefly glow so they are easier to find<\/p>\n
## River-Prawn Greatclaw<\/p>\n
The **River-Prawn Greatclaw** is a custom animated GeckoLib weapon.<\/p>\n
It features:<\/p>\n
* Heavy melee damage
\n* Durability-based use
\n* A ground-slam attack
\n* A visual block-wave effect
\n* Area damage that scales with fall speed<\/p>\n
The harder you fall, the wider the slam impact becomes.<\/p>\n
## Items<\/p>\n
The mod also includes:<\/p>\n
* Raw Prawn
\n* Cooked Prawn
\n* Smithing Stones
\n* Somber Stones
\n* Purging Stone
\n* Crayfish and Maneater spawn eggs<\/p>\n
Smithing and Somber Stones can upgrade supported equipment, with configurable caps and tag-based blacklist\/whitelist support.<\/p>\n
## Coming In A Future Update<\/p>\n
A new mob is already being prepared for a future update.<\/p>\n
It is not available in the current release yet, but development has already started.
\nMore details will be revealed once the creature is closer to release.<\/p>\n
