**The Altar and Pedestals:**<\/p>\n
The altar is this mod’s replacement for the enchanting table. When surrounded by pedestals, it can be used for various magical recipes.<\/p>\n
Both blocks can be placed in any direction, and will connect to themselves.<\/p>\n

**Infusing:**\u00a0Combine items from the pedestals into the item on the altar, creating a brand new item<\/p>\n
**Enchanting:**\u00a0Combine items from the pedestals into the item on the altar, enchanting it with specific enchantments<\/p>\n
**Summoning:**\u00a0Combine items from the pedestals into the item on the altar, summoning a mob or entity<\/p>\n

A recipe can be crafted by shift + right clicking the altar, or activating it with a redstone pulse.<\/p>\n
The altar’s recipes are all data driven, with various options such as consuming the base item, altering the summoned mob’s data, randomizing enchantments, etc.<\/p>\n

**Enchanting Tablets:**<\/p>\n
Enchanting tablets are this mod’s replacement for enchanted books.<\/p>\n
They can be crafted via altar infusing, and applied to tools on the smithing table.<\/p>\n
Tablets will enchant tools with as many possible enchantments from its available pool as possible, for exactly one level each.<\/p>\n

Each tablet represents one or more enchantments:<\/p>\n
**aquatic** – aqua affinity, depth strider, impaling
\n**cyclic** – sweeping edge, riptide
\n**everlasting** – unbreaking
\n**flinging** – knockback, punch, lunge, wind burst
\n**glacial** – respiration, frost walker
\n**hallowed** – smite, channeling
\n**haunted** – soul speed, swift sneak
\n**heavy** – blast protection, density
\n**infested** – bane of arthropods
\n**recollection** – infinity, multishot, loyalty
\n**swift** – efficiency, quick charge, lure
\n**fiery** – fire aspect, flame, fire protection
\n**light** – silk touch, feather falling
\n**lucky** – fortune, looting, luck of the sea
\n**serrated** – sharpness, thorns\u00a0
\n**puncturing** – power, piercing, projectile protection, breach
\n**enduring** – mending, curse of vanishing
\n**secure** – protection, curse of binding\u00a0<\/p>\n
