With only a little over two days until the OGA Dota PIT Season 3 EU/CIS event kicks off, Team Nigma have confirmed that they will continue to be without their fearless leader.
Back in July of this year, when Nigma participated in the OGA Dota PIT Season 2 event, we learned that the team’s well-known and long-standing captain would be taking some time off for physical therapy. Due to this injury and his subsequent therapy, Kuro has been unable to play at the previous two events – which still saw the team finish in first and third place at the Dota PIT Season 2 and OMEGA League: Europe Immortal Division respectively. Nigma has played both events with their coach, Roman “rmN-“ Paley as a stand-in and have just announced that they will be doing so once again for the upcoming OGA Dota PIT Season 3 EU/CIS tournament.
In their post on Twitter, Nigma revealed that Kuro was still recovering from and undergoing treatment and thus will continue to be on the sideline, with rmN taking his place as a stand-in again. The full Nigma line up for the event will be:
- Amer “Miracle-“ Al-Barkawi
- Aliwi “w33” Omar
- Ivan “MinD_ContRoL” Ivanov
- Maroun “GH” Merhej
- Roman “rmN-“ Paley
Nigma will be hoping to continue with their string of rather amazing results this season and also possibly look to end the domination from Team Secret at any all events which they have been involved in. For Kuro, we hope that he has a speedy recovery and returns to the Dota 2 battlefield in no time.
