CHANGES TO VERTIGO, TRAIN IN CS:GO UPDATE
Valve’s latest update to CS:GO brings substantial changes to Vertigo, adjustments to Train, and a jumping accuracy fix for the Deagle.
Vertigo continues to be a focus for Valve, who have shipped a number of changes to the map in their latest update. The B bombsite has received the biggest overall, resulting in a complete redesign of its layout, cover, and entrance.
The window in mid has also been closed off, with the sandbags being moved closer towards CT spawn to create a new mid-to-B entrance that drops players into the back of B site. Additionally, the spammable wall at A has been replaced with a metal fence, offering CTs more cover as they traverse the two sides of the bombsite.
Adjustments to Train include new collision models on the dumpsters, an update that was previously shipped on Overpass due to over-wide models blocking bullets despite clear lines of sight. Pigeons at ivy, which previously could indicate that a T player was in the area, are no longer visible from the CT side, while the ladder on oil train has been fixed to allow for players to walk off at the top.
The update also adds the ability to view the crosshair of players that are being spectated, and copy crosshairs through player names on the scoreboard. Additionally, Anubis, Chlorine, and Jungle have received updates, and seven music kits have been added to the game.
