Overwatch is getting a new character. Blizzard Entertainment announced a new hero named Sion, who will appear in the shooter with the launch of Season 3, “Into the Tiger’s Den,” on June 16th. She is the leader of the Hashimoto crime family and promises to significantly impact the balance of power in the game.<\/p>\n

Who is Sion and when will she appear in Overwatch?<\/h2>\n

Developers at Blizzard Entertainment have officially unveiled the next fighter in the roster: Sion. This dangerous heroine leads the Hashimoto crime family, familiar to fans from the game’s lore. Season 3, titled “Into the Tiger’s Den,” is scheduled to release on June 16th. Apparently, the developers are preparing a major content update that will continue the “Reign of Talon” story arc.<\/p>\n

“End of the Line” Story Trailer and Showdown in Tokyo<\/h2>\n

The announcement was accompanied by an atmospheric cinematic trailer titled “End of the Line.” The video showed a brutal clash between Sion and Sojurn right on the neon streets of Tokyo\u2014it seems this location will be the key point of confrontation in the new episodes. Players will have to personally determine whose control will ultimately fall to the districts of the Japanese capital. Given the new heroine’s status as one of the most brutal and influential figures in the criminal underworld, the confrontation will be cinematic (and that’s no exaggeration).
