Aurimas \u201cBymas\u201d Pipiras has publicly accused Monte of owing him tens of thousands of dollars, saying payments connected to prize money, stickers and other bonuses had not been made since 2025. The player made the allegation in a post on X after Monte\u2019s chief executive, Dmytro Vovk, criticized Bymas, Aur\u00e9lien \u201cafro\u201d Drapier, Oscar \u201cAZUWU\u201d Bell and their agents in a YouTube video.<\/p>\n

The dispute followed the players\u2019 departure from Monte to join Luminosity. Bymas said the issue was not limited to his own situation, adding that former players and the coach were still waiting for considerable sums. Monte answered his post by arguing that a delay of two weeks in salary payments should not be described as critical, and said athletes had been kept informed about payment delays.<\/p>\n

Bymas described delayed payments as a recurring problem throughout his time with Monte. According to his account, players repeatedly contacted the organization to ask why the delays continued and were told the matter would be resolved. He said the situation did not change and that it became increasingly difficult to trust that the payments would be handled properly.<\/p>\n

The player linked those concerns directly to his decision not to extend his contract. He said he did not want to commit his future to an organization while financial issues continued, referring to players in esports who had been harmed when organizations failed to meet financial obligations. This is an account from Bymas rather than an independently established finding on the underlying payments.<\/p>\n

Monte\u2019s public response focused on its position that the reported delays were not critical. The organization also replied sarcastically to Bymas, saying the text appeared to have been approved by an agent. The exchange places competing public accounts beside each other: Bymas alleged unpaid earnings and continuing delays, while Monte characterized the salary delay it referenced as limited.<\/p>\n

The public disagreement came after a Monte video in which Vovk criticized Bymas, afro, AZUWU and their agents over the trio\u2019s departure for Luminosity. The video\u2019s thumbnail depicted Bymas, afro and AZUWU as rats seeking cheese in a trap marked with Luminosity, according to the report.<\/p>\n

Bymas rejected the description of the players as disloyal. He said choosing not to renew a contract was not betrayal and argued that the group had the right to make the decision it considered best for their careers after the payment problems and other events he referenced. His response did not state that every financial claim had been resolved or independently verified.<\/p>\n

He also addressed Monte\u2019s activity after the Major, alleging that the organization received substantial money from sales while former players and staff still awaited what they were owed. That statement was presented as Bymas\u2019s allegation. Monte\u2019s quoted replies in the report did not provide a detailed accounting of prize money, sticker revenue, bonuses, former-player claims or staff claims.<\/p>\n

The roster developments provide the competitive context for the dispute.
