paiN player Vinicius “vsm” Moreira expects a difficult meeting with FURIA in the opening round of BLAST Open Porto. The Brazilian teams are set to play in Group A, and vsm said FURIA arrive in a good moment while paiN have not been performing as well.<\/p>\n

Speaking to Dust2 Brasil, vsm said paiN had trained and improved on some maps before the event. He described the upcoming domestic matchup as closely contested and said that matches between Brazilian teams carry pressure for each side, rather than placing it only on the team in better form.<\/p>\n

His comments provide a direct account from within paiN after the squad’s Esports World Cup group-stage elimination. According to vsm, the team returned to Brazil afterward, trained during its available time there, took a rest day, and then travelled for BLAST Open Porto.<\/p>\n

The match therefore follows a short preparation period in which paiN reviewed errors from the Esports World Cup. vsm said the team intends to give major attention to BLAST Open Porto because it is important, while also stating that there is still work to do on internal alignment.<\/p>\n

vsm did not present FURIA’s stronger moment as a reason for paiN to expect less pressure. Instead, he said a Brazilian-versus-Brazilian meeting is always intense regardless of which teams are involved. In his words, it is “shouting” and “war,” with everyone wanting to beat the other side.<\/p>\n

That assessment is tied to the immediate competitive situation rather than a broader claim about either roster.
