Luminosity have announced the signing of Simon \u201cyxngstxr\u201d Boije, with the Swedish player taking the place previously held by Aurimas \u201cBymas\u201d Pipiras. The move restores Luminosity\u2019s active lineup after Bymas was moved to the bench following the team\u2019s first five matches under the organization\u2019s banner.<\/p>\n

The transfer was independently reported by HLTV, Dust2 Brasil and DRAFT5, which each identified yxngstxr as Bymas\u2019 replacement and listed the same active Luminosity group. Those accounts also confirmed Alexander \u201ckakafu\u201d Szymanczyk as the team\u2019s coach. Dust2 Brasil reported that kakafu had already been working with the squad and had been alongside it at the Esports World Cup before his appointment was formally announced.<\/p>\n

yxngstxr joins Luminosity after his time with HEROIC. HLTV reported that he had spent the first half of 2026 in an unsettled position, having been placed on HEROIC\u2019s bench before returning to the lineup as an AWPer while Alimzhan \u201cAlkaren\u201d Bitimbay\u2019s visa situation was being resolved. Luminosity now gives him the full-time rifle position he described as his intended next step.<\/p>\n

The roster change follows a difficult opening stretch for the former Monte core led by Lucas \u201clux\u201d Meneghini. HLTV separately described consecutive last-place finishes at XSE Pro League Guangzhou and the Esports World Cup before Bymas was benched.<\/p>\n

Luminosity\u2019s announcement therefore combines two documented personnel decisions: yxngstxr enters the active player group, while kakafu is confirmed as head coach. The available reports do not present the move as a change to the other listed players, who remain Aleks \u201cRainwaker\u201d Petrov, Aur\u00e9lien \u201cafro\u201d Drapier, lux and Oscar \u201cAZUWU\u201d Bell.<\/p>\n

HLTV\u2019s account provides the clearest recent competitive record for yxngstxr before the transfer. During his interim spell as HEROIC\u2019s sniper, he averaged a 1.00 rating, helped the team qualify for Stage 1 of the IEM Cologne Major, and won DraculaN Season 5 and Stake Ranked Episode 3. Those results belong specifically to his temporary AWPer period with HEROIC.<\/p>\n

DRAFT5 adds earlier context to his time with the organization, reporting that yxngstxr joined HEROIC at the beginning of 2025 as part of the transaction involving the former Sangal core. DRAFT5 credited him with three lower-profile titles during his time there: CCT Global Finals 2025, MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025 and DraculaN Season 5. It also reported that he played the Austin Major in 2025 and the Cologne Major in 2026.<\/p>\n

In a post on X quoted by HLTV, yxngstxr said: \u201cit\u2019s finally time to go and start the real rifle grind.\u201d The wording matches the role description in the report, which says he is looking forward to returning to a full-time rifle role at Luminosity.<\/p>\n
