They are not a public accounting statement from Passion UA, and the report does not supply a line-by-line ledger. What it does provide is a sequence of examples showing that the dispute extends beyond one delayed paycheck or one former player.<\/p>\n<p>Problems with salary timing reportedly appeared before the StarLadder Budapest Major. The later transfer examples add a different kind of obligation: money between organizations. Keeping those categories separate is important because the overall estimate combines several reported problems rather than describing a single unpaid invoice.<\/p>\n<h2>Two Transfers Show How the Debt Spread Beyond Salaries<\/h2>\n<p>One dispute surfaced when Michael &#8220;Grim&#8221; Wince was due to leave for NRG. Complexity had previously transferred its core to Passion UA and was reportedly still waiting for part of the agreed fee. The unresolved earlier deal then affected the new one: Complexity was prepared to prevent Grim&#8217;s move, and NRG supplied a portion of the missing payment.<\/p>\n<p>Another shortfall was attached to Santino &#8220;try&#8221; Rigal, with Imperial reportedly not receiving the complete amount due for the Argentine AWPer. The cases are not identical, but together they show why the story cannot be reduced to player compensation. Oleksandr Zinchenko cut ties with Passion UA in June and said that his role had only been to act as the public face of the brand, lend his image rights and support the project as a media partner.<\/p>\n<p>That description was placed alongside accounts that players could contact both Zinchenko and CEO Artemijs Rjabovs when a problem needed attention. The contrast does not by itself prove who controlled each payment, but it explains why the leadership structure became part of the discussion once money remained outstanding.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibility and visibility are not the same thing. Being the recognizable face of a project does not automatically establish authority over its bank accounts; equally, direct access from players is relevant to how they understood the chain of responsibility. The report records both sides of that tension without resolving it through corporate documents.<\/p>\n<h3>Sticker Revenue Became the Largest Reported Obligation<\/h3>\n<p>Rjabovs reportedly told the team that the Budapest sticker funds had not arrived from Valve and offered that as the reason for the delay. The account does not independently confirm a missing payment from the game publisher. Accurate coverage therefore has to attribute the explanation to the CEO instead of adopting it as the established cause.<\/p>\n<p>One source said the people waiting for money had largely stopped expecting to receive it. That bleak assessment conveys how the affected side viewed the situation at the time of the report.
