The former and most recently Na’Vi support player, Ilya “Lil” Ilyuk announced just yesterday his intentions to build a team of his own for the next Dota Pro Circuit season.

The news was received with mixed feelings by the community as Lil was not treated lightly by some of his former teams’ fans. No doubt, Lil is a high-class player and he is ready to prove to everyone that he can change and he can lead a team to the highest peaks of competitive Dota 2.

Not even 48 hours have passed since he made his intentions public and his team Odium is almost ready to go. Three players from three different CIS teams joined him.

Lil has now two offlaners and two supports secured. His former teammate from Natus Vincere, Victor “GeneRaL” Nigrini joined the team along with the ex-Team Empire offlaner Andrey “Ghostik” Kadyk, which is rather intriguing as none of these two played other roles in official games with their former teams.

Moments ago, Vega Squadron’s long time standing captain and support player, Semion “CemaTheSlayer” Krivulya has also announced that he will be joining team Odium. Cema has fought under the Vega Squadron colors for four years now, but according to the official announcement released by the organization today, he is not fit for the new roster that they try to build.

“He has been a captain for many years, working on strategies and creating the great atmosphere for the team. With the new competitive season we began searching for new ways to form a roster and unfortunately for many fans, Slayer will not be able to compete in the main roster. His influence on team improvement for many years is invaluable, but we think that this decision will bring profits to both sides”  – extract from Vega Squadron’s official announcement

Team Odium current roster:

 – Andrey “Ghostik” Kadyk
– Victor “GeneRaL” Nigrini
– Semion “CemaTheSlayer” Krivulya
 – Ilya “Lil” Ilyuk

There are roughly two weeks to go until all the teams and players must register their final rosters for the next season. The deadline is on the 15th September and while Na’Vi and now team Odium have already announced four out of their final five players, the rest of the CIS teams are still working on their line-ups.
