In CS 2, opponents are visible through smoke due to NVIDIA settings: Unusual spawn point
Tur, a data miner, shared information about a new vulnerability in CS 2, which allows you to see your opponents through the smoke. This vulnerability can only be exploited by users of NVIDIA graphics cards. A video demonstrating the problem was posted on social media. If you set the filters correctly in NVIDIA Freestyle, the silhouettes of players become clearly visible through the cloud of smoke. However, the author did not provide configuration recommendations to minimize the potential for users to abuse this vulnerability.

To use third-party software to change graphics in CS 2, just add the -allow_third_party_software option to the game launch options. Tur suggested that Valve temporarily disable access to matchmaking for players using this option.
Previously, a bug was discovered in CS 2 that caused players to spawn in the wrong places. It often occurred before the start of the first round due to a glitch in the system.
An unusual spawn point was found in CS 2 – this is due to a bug
User AdamoA from the Reddit platform discovered an interesting phenomenon in the competitive mode of CS 2. During the game, for some unknown reason, his teammate respawned outside the normal spawn area. For clarity, the author created a theme and highlighted the correct place of rebirth with a circle. In the comments, one of the players explained why this happened. He claimed that the player was reborn in the sixth position, which was set by the game developers. This position is used in modes where there are more than five players on the team.
There has been a bug in CS 2 for some time that causes the system to think that the first five positions are already taken. As a result of this, the system switches to the backup position. This phenomenon is observed on all maps only before the start of the first round of the game.
Valve previously fixed a bug related to an infinite number of grenades. Previously, players could purchase an unlimited amount of explosives in the first 20 seconds of a round, which made the game much more difficult for opponents.
