In their BLAST Premier Spring Series London debut, Natus Vincere was unable to pick up a win as Vitality looked to be a step ahead the whole way. Even with a relatively slow start in the series by Mathieu “ZywOo” Herbaut, Vitality was able to best Na’Vi 2-0 and put themselves in a strong position moving into the next match of Group B.
Even with the heroics of Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhailov in map one coupled with a quieter than usual ZywOo, Na’Vi couldn’t steal back the lead from Vitality. Boombl4 would lead the server with 28 kills and a massive 112.6 average damage per round across the 28 round map. A -9 showing from Na’Vi’s recent best performer Denis “electronic” Sharipov was a disappointing piece of the puzzle for the squad.
While not to the same level, Boombl4 once again performed near the top of the leaderboard alongside Aleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev. The pair were unable to compete with the duo on the other side of ZywOo and a Richard “shox” Papillon who reminded viewers of days of old. shox finished the second map with a +13 kill-to-death differential and 90.6 ADR, second to only ZywOo’s 98.1. Vitality would take the map 16-9 and secure the 2-0.
Na’Vi now awaits the loser of Astralis vs. Complexity while Vitality will play the winner.
