Former Dota 2 The International champions, Alliance, have revealed plans to jump into VALORANT. With Riot Games’ popular first-person shooter continuing to gain traction, it has brought in yet another top organization from another title.

The construction of Alliance’s VALORANT division will be led by James “BanKs” Banks. The former player turned broadcast talent will server as General Manage of Alliance VALORANT. “I will be building a top tier European VALORANT team. Its time to get on the hunt Eyes!” Banks said in a tweet regarding the news.

Banks added some more words in the official post on the Alliance website.

“This is a new challenge and a new chapter for me. I have been enjoying every aspect of VALORANT since beta. When I was first talking to the guys at Alliance they were very serious in how they wanted to approach the VALORANT scene and what they could offer a team. Together with my experience and their fantastic support team we will be on the hunt for the right team or players to create something special. The facilities that Alliance have are impressive and I can’t wait to get the right players who are hungry, motivated and want to be the future champions of VALORANT under the Alliance banner. The hunt begins!”

VALORANT is one of three new divisions Alliance plans to bring into its umbrella heading into 2021.
