Evil Geniuses’ latest episode of “Life of a Genius” is centered on the two new additions to the squad, Abed Yusop and Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev, but it also brings some news to the EG fans.

Perhaps, one of the most surprising info is that Artour “Arteezy” Babaev has started to stream again. Another piece of info from their latest episodes reveals that although he still gets flamed when the team loses a game, Sam “BuLba” Sosale isn’t drafting anymore. The episode opens with Tal “Fly” Aizik who explains to his teammates the importance of not getting overwhelmed by the negative comments on social media and Reddit. As someone who got a lot of flame from his and the OG fans, he is probably the best suited to talk to his teammates about how the community can break your mentality. However, the episode isn’t really about that, but more about how the team comes together with their new additions.

Fly about the new roster:

“We have two new players from two different regions [with] different cultures, coming from different teams. It’s very different, but it also adds a feeling of something new and exciting. It’s very Important to make sure we gel as a team and I don’t think it’s something that’s going to happen instantly. I think it will take some time, and a big part of my responsibility is to make sure we are able to bring everybody together.”

EG are qualified for the MDL Chengdu, the first major of the 2019-2020 Dota Pro circuit season. It will be their first LAN appearance and the organization COO, Phillip Aram is confident that the new additions will bring their A game. He speaks highly about both of them and gives a bit of insight into why EG decided to bring them to the team.

Phillip Aram about Ramzes and Abed:

“Ramzes and Abed are very much the same in a way, they are incredible at Dota, and they are very different in any other way. Abed really embraces this mentality of hard work and excellence while also being whatever the team needs kind of guy. Ramzes just has this kind of fire about him, he really brings the whole mood up.  He does “meow-meow,” in the room a lot, but nobody really knows what that means. We need somebody who’s gonna make calls in game from a core position really aggressively and he is that guy 100%.

Life of a Genius Season 4, Episode 5:

During the Major qualifiers EG lost just one game, and that happened in their last series, versus Quincy Crew. The latter didn’t make it to the Major, so Evil Geniuses will be joined from their region by J.Storm and Fighting PandaS. MDL Chengdu will kick off on the 16th of November with a total of 16 teams fighting for a share of the $1,000,000 prize pool and 15,000 Dota Pro circuit points.
