Today, the Seoul Dynasty announced the transfer of flex tank Kim “Kuki” Dae-kuk to the Los Angeles Valiant. Kuki primarily served in the main-tank role for the Dynasty and occasionally relieved Kim “Zunba” Joon-hyuk of playtime on flex tank. Following the release of Gong “Miro” Jin-hyuk and transfer of Koo “xepheR” Jae-mo, Kuki is the third tank to be released or transferred away from the Dynasty. The Dynasty finished in 8th place — missing the playoffs — during Overwatch League Season One and has been offloading players since the acquisition of Chan “Fissure” Hyung-Baek.

The current Seoul Dynasty roster is as follows:

Kim “Zunba” Joon-hyuk

Ryu “ryujehong” Je-hong

Yang “tobi” Jin-mo

Kim “Fleta” Byung-sun

Byun “Munchkin” Sang-beom

Chan “Fissure” Hyung-baek

The Los Angeles Valiant acquire Kuki following its own roster decisions this offseason. Indy “SPACE” Halpern and Koo “Fate” Pan-seung currently occupy the tank positions on the Valiant, meaning that Kuki’s acquisition may only be a move for depth purposes. The Valiant finished in 3rd/4th place during Overwatch League Season One and have since maintained key components of its roster, with Kuki being the first depth acquisition.

The current Los Angeles Valiant roster is as follows:

Brady “Agilities” Girardi, DPS

Terence “SoOn” Tarlier, DPS

Chae “Bunny” Jun-hyeok, DPS

Kyle “KSF” Frandanisa, DPS

Indy “SPACE” Halpern,Tank

Koo “Fate” Pan-seung, Tank
