TakeTV, the organizer of the hugely popular SeatStory Cup (SSC) series of Hearthstone tournaments will run its 10th edition Dec. 20-22. But there’s a plot twist. This time, the tournament is welcoming the competition next door: Artifact.
Coming just before the Christmas holidays, SSC X will be the first LAN event for Artifact and the second constructed tournament overall. The constructed format recently debuted at WePlay’s Mighty Triad event, but that one was all played online, with only the talent present in the studio in Kyiv, Ukraine. When it comes to SSC X, one should expect the trademark experience: homely atmosphere in TakeTV’s studios in Krefeld, Germany and three days of fun, giggles and esports camaraderie.
From 20th-22nd Dec. we are going to have our SeatStory Cup X 😍
Something special about our anniversary is, that we will play @PlayArtifact.

SeatStory Cup X will also feature three online qualifiers, giving everyone a chance for entry. So far, one EU Qualifier has been scheduled for Friday, Dec. 7, and one NA Qualifier for Saturday, Dec. 8. Both qualifiers are capped at 128 players.
In its nine editions so far, SeatStory Cup has only had one repeat champion in Jon “Orange” Westberg, but this new Artifact edition could add to the tournament’s history. A lot of SSC’s previous champions, including Janne “Savjz” Mikkonnen, Cong “StrifeCro” Shu, Jan “SuperJJ” Hanssen, Adrian “Lifecoach” Koy and Sebastian “Xixo” Bentert have shown interest in Artifact and already have some results to show.
The prize pool is set at $10,000.
