Earlier this week PSG.LGD announced that Lu ‘Maybe’ Yao is taking a break from the competitive scene to recharge his batteries for the road to TI9. Today, Saturday, February 2, 2019, the 23 years old mid laner announced his marriage.


“Life has its ups and downs but ultimately it gets better and merrier as time goes by.”


Maybe proposed to his girlfriend on the 31st of December when they were in Tokyo, Japan to celebrate the New Year. Today, two days ahead of the Chinese Lunar New Year they officialized their vows and received their marriage certificates.


In the meantime, his team, PSG.LGD qualified today for DreamLeague Season 11, the Stockholm Major using CDEC’s mid laner Guo “XM” Hongcheng. It is not known yet for how long Maybe will stay away from the competitive scene and if PSG.LGD will head to the MDL Macau later this month and to the Stockholm Major in March with or without him.

MDL Macau is going to unfold February 20-24 with Evil Geniuses,, Team Liquid, EHOME, Invictus Gaming, Royal Never Give Up and PSG.LGD who were one of the four direct invites to the $300,000 event. The tournament isn’t a part of the Dota Pro Circuit (DPC) season, but for everyone participating, it will be a good training ground for the newly implemented patch 7.21.

DreamLeague Season 11 will take place March 14-24 with $1,000,000 and 15,000 DPC points on the line as it’s the third Major of the season. PSG.LGD sit now on a comfortable 4th position in the DPC rankings with 2250 points gathered with a top six finish at the Kuala Lumpur Major and a top four placement at the Chongqing Major.
