The official 2019 League of Legends World Championship anthem has finally been released after a prolonged wait. Phoenix, ft. Cailin Russo and Chrissy Constanza brings a nice, simple, and stylish artwork with the recognizable rhythm and melody that Riot Games seems to love so much.

The video focuses on three of the best mid laners in the world: SKT’s Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok, G2’s Rasmus “Caps” Winther, and iG’s Song “Rookie” Eui-jin locked in a battle with each other. These three players will also be in the spotlight at the Worlds 2019 Main Event, each following a story of their own. For Faker, this is his return to Worlds after missing 2018. For Rookie, it’s the story of a slumping mid-laner that will have to defend his title. And with Caps, it’s about the best western mid in the world, who came so close to the Summoner’s Cup in 2018, only to lose in the final.

The song should be a nice solace for fans while they wait for the Main Event group stage to begin Oct. 12.
